Disappointing customer service experience.
No flexibility when it comes to accommodating small groups. Despite available tables right next to our friends, we were not allowed to sit together — and this was before any food was served. No effort was made to offer a solution or show any consideration. Cold, rigid service with no regard for the customer. A real shame, as the experience could have been much better.
The Walker House is a must-visit destination in Mineral Point, Wisconsin. Having grown up in this charming town, I can confidently say that the owners have done an outstanding job restoring this historic gem. I have tried this restaurant a few times, food and service is okay for a small town , but it’s downfall is the host / hostess every time we go same story, we walk in and host/hostess is standing there not saying a word just looking at us until we ask for a table. Last week when we decided to try it again because we just finished walking the beach same thing and when we asked for a table they said it be a long wait we turned around and got in our vehicle and drove to Owen Sounds...read full review
