The Walker House is always a great place to eat. The portions are large and the food is always tasty. Hot beef is my favorite and my hubby loves the Blackened Pickerel. Their are a lot of choices on the menu as well as 5 - 6 Specials every night. Try the Carrot Cake. It is delicious! The staff are generally very good and seem to stay for a while. You can tell by that and by how busy this restaurant is that it is well run and a favorite in our community.
Nicole, our server was amazing even on a snowstormy night. We had great conversations about our winter glamping in a yurt snow globe trip. Food was fantastic as always & Nicole was very friendly & attentive
Excellent food and very attentive and friendly service. The Walker House has a great high end tavern ambience and is good value for dining out. Reservations are always a good idea; we were there on a Tuesday night in January and it was busy. The Open Table app made reserving quick and easy.
