Hallelujah! Gluten-free paradise. I haven’t had battered onion rings in 20+ years so wow! Outstanding fish and chips. Loads of GF options, especially on a Wednesday. Reminds me of the best fish and chip places of the 1980s in Toronto. Beyond gluten-free, the food, service is wonderful. Challenge anyone to try the GF and tell if there is a difference!
I had a fantastic experience at Annie’s in Stratford. We ordered the “the navigator” for two and everything was cooked perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The halibut was truly exceptional and definitely my favorite of the bunch, but the haddock, cod, and snapper were also delicious and well-prepared. The onion rings, fries, and coleslaw were fresh and flavorful, rounding out the meal nicely.

This place was nothing short of amazing. We went on the Wednesday GLUTEN FREE day. What an opportunity to enjoy going out without the stress of getting glutened. It was a real treat. We also bought several frozen gluten free items from their freezer section that were sourced from various other gluten free establishments. We had poutine, onion rings, mushrooms, chowder and potato skins along with a few other items. We will be back!
