This was an awful experience. I ordered a bowl with chicken and was told they were out of chicken. One of the staff looked over and said “I just used the last of the chicken just now.” How is that helpful? Like if I’d have ordered 30 seconds earlier I could have had chicken? Then we waited and my wife went up and was told they didn’t have it in the system so they hadn’t even started on it. My wife asked for no craisins and as soon as she said that the guy put craisins on the bowl and they had to remake it (sulphite allergy). We eventually got the food and it was fine but overall it was an awful experience.

I was pretty hopeful, even after reading some recent reviews. Sadly, I won’t be back, nor would I recommend Bowl Bar. Service was incredibly slow, both my smoothies were insanely watered down (one of them was even warm), dishes were piled high in the sink and in the customer return bin, and every food container on the counter had the lid open, looking like it had been sitting open all day. I give props to the one worker though, who washed their hands multiple times as I waited for my food.

I love that I can customize my bowl - and they are always so kind and patient while I make my choices! They are so friendly and helpful - and they always make sure you have everything you need. The atmosphere is very welcoming - and you can grab water at your leisure with their complimentary water station. They also have wifi so I've had work lunch dates there before! Lots of seating is available, and the windows along the one side of the building provide lots of natural light! You can also sit outside if you prefer. The staff are always friendly and prompt. And, you can order ahead online - bonus!!

What’s with the insistence on serving chicken cold? If the issue is that it’s too complicated to heat the proteins up - then at least have that reflected in the price.

The service was good and the place is designed very nicely with lots of seating but the food was so mediocre and flavorlesssssss. We were actually really hungry but still didn’t finish it and packed the majority of it to go! I’m so sorry but we got the humus, salsa, and guac and chips and everything tasted store bought like straight up from a can or something. I got the chicken wrap which had the same mediocre hummus inside but it was too sweet and too salty all at the same time (because of the hummus and pepper mix). My friend got the pesto pizza and she really didn’t like it either - for a healthy place I think it needs to use more spices, sauces and seasonings…. Sorry for the harsh feedback!

My wife and I have been to Bowl Bar a few times now. It seems to be the place we want to go when we’re in Stratford. The food is fresh and healthy. I would recommend this restaurant to anybody.
