Gastropubs in Stratford, ON

“We just stayed at Bentley's for two nights while in town for the Stratford Festival and some local shopping and sight-seeing. We couldn't stop talking about how great it was: the location is right in the middle of everything but we didn't hear ANY noise from the bar/resto, the street, or the folks staying next door. The room had a lovely layout over two floors and just the amenities we needed -- we could have comfortably stayed here for a week or two easily. The staff were awesome: very helpful/accommodating with parking. The room was clean (and cleaned) and renovated recently so felt nice and crisp. And we had a lovely late-night meal at the restaurant the first night which was perfect, we just crawled upstairs afterward. We'll be recommending it to our friends and definitely plan to stay next time we have an itch for world-class Shakespeare.“
