Yet again, stumbled into this quaint hole in the wall establishment on a chilly Saturday night and am dumbfounded by the comforting atmosphere. From the family like staff to the patrons that make you feel like a regular, I couldn’t be happier with my choice for the night. Will definitely be coming back.

Great pub, great service. lots of variety in the food options. Delicious, but mine was only luke warm. The place has TVs showing different sports, and pool tables.

Went with friends. It was 1/2 price burger night. I had what was to be a $22. burger and fries. Second worst burger in years and small. The only good thing was the bacon. Worth $12.? Server was distracted. Forgot my drink order. Forgot the sauce on the side period. 2 others thought their's was fine ... OK, but the 4th like me was really disappointed and didn't finish.

Overall a good experience even though I spent quite a bit when I was there. But nonetheless the service was great and i enjoyed my time there, my bartender Kristie was especially nice and helpful throughout the night

I really enjoyed the stack house burger. In was a handmade patty with a nice crust/carnelizaton from the grill. For the side, Hubby had fries, I had onion rings and both were excellent. If you are very hungry, I recommend the fries as it is a larger serving than the onion rings. Very friendly waitstaff. We will he back.
Went for lunch today and ordered a Cobb salad Typically this is ham cheese either chicken or turkey and then hard boiled egg tomato, cheese and bacon bits and occasionally avocado Today I was asked if I wanted chicken which I said yes If I had said no then no protein so therefore no Cobb salad And the price absolutely ridiculous for a lettuce salad.sorry this is just not acceptable

This place is busy! (And noisy! Lol) We were absolutely group of girls having thursday 1/2 price burgers. Mine was the burger of the day -- Hawaiian. It was a little dry, but not so dry to complain about. Fries were ok.

My wife and I, Friday Date Day. Stratford this time. After the Theatre, a matinee. We went downtown, took in some stores..
The restaurant my wife had been to, was jammed packed for at least 3 more hours, we asked an employee at the Scottish shop, and were told of Gillies. An easy (slow) walk, for a girl facing knee surgery and we found the place. It was quite full too, yet there were like 2 tables available. Maybe 3.
Turned into an excellent choice to find a delicious meal. Friendly helpful staff - from the greeter to the guy serving us. Ask for Curtis, he made me feel like we were friends who hadn't yet met, asked perceptive questions which showed him to give insightful answers; and there was no intrusion to the conversation between my wife and I, he earned a tip... The tables are large, with space around them, I did not feel crammed into place like Sardines, i didn't feel like I was eavesdropping in on my neighbours. The music was 👍, a great mix. I don't just recommend this restaurant. I plan to return.

Love the new Gilly's updates they have made. The Wonton Nachos are the absolute best — if you haven't tried them yet, you will not be disappointed.
