Matilda Swanson Gallery & Art Bar is a fantastic location to visit for locals and tourists of Stratford. There is a phenomenally wide variety of pieces from artists around the area of various artistic styles. The gallery staff are extremely friendly and approachable plus there is a great selection of cocktails, wine, or beer to drink as you wonder and browse the paintings and artwork. It is a must visit.
Beautiful space and gorgeous artwork. The owner was kind/knowledgeable and made us feel right at home. Very accommodating about shipping/wrapping work. The cocktails looked so fun we have to come back and try them. 10/10 great spot to stop and hangout.
This place is the best! They display works from a wide variety of local artists without prejudice towards the content, so you will see darker pieces alongside bright bursts of colour.
There is a licensed bar with a robust selection of wines, local microbrewery beers, and, most importantly, some of the best cocktails in town.
Go visit, have a drink, look at some art, chat with the extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff, it's a great time out!
