We went here at the dinner hour on Saturday, November 9th. It was very busy but I was surprised the 3 of us were seated in under 10 minutes. That was around 5:30pm. We ordered shortly after that at about 5:40pm. Then waited and waited and WAITED for our food to come. We didn't get our food till around 6:20pm! I ordered one of their "Festive" meals that includes a box of 5 Lindor chocolates and a scratch ticket (both of which you get at the end with your bill). I got the 1/3 rack of ribs and quarter chicken "Festive" meal which also includes about a tablespoon of stuffing and a teaspoon of cranberry sauce along with roll and fries. The ribs and chicken were really good. But as I was almost done the chicken I realized that I got a wing. But the wing was small and badly charred. I tried to eat some of it but the meat was dry and had too much char on it. So kind of a bad ending to a good meal. The other two in my party got the quesadilla and chicken pot pie, both of which were good I was told. The last time we went to Swiss Chalet here was a couple of months ago. That time was good except for they forgot my Chalet sauce! But yesterday was unacceptable with the long wait and charred chicken wing.

Being disabled, I appreciate the curb side delivery available through the Swiss Chalet app. However, on my last visit, someone in the restaurant disabled their internet connection so I was unable to advise the restaurant of my arrival. I arrived 15 minutes prior to closing, and ended up having to go to the takeout counter. I told the clerk of the situation, and she checked on her tablet, gave a mumbled "sorry", and yhen said I should have called. I told her the restaurant's phone number does not appear on the app.

Website has a deal posted that they refused to honour. The website said "free app or pie with order of 2 adult entrees for CAA members" then when I get there, the worker refuses to honour the deal, because the Thanksgiving feast isn't apart of it. This is why I never come here. Absolutely mediocre food, for top dollar, and terrible service. Will not return.

We tried to order take out online through the Swiss chalet website for pick up 2 hours before the restaurant was set to close. The website denied our order and when I tried to call the restaurant to place our order was told they couldn't accept any orders and that I'd have to come place it in person. I find it ridiculous and an inconvenience that I was unable to place an order ahead of time online or over the phone , but people who ordered from sites like skip the dishes or Uber could place orders and have them fulfilled. In the 15 to 20 minutes that I sat and watched during a peak dinner hour, more than 15 people walked in and got their orders.

Overall a good restaurant. Not the best swiss chalet I have been too but good nonetheless. I would definitely say everything was strikingly average.
Parking: There was plenty of parking when I was there but it is a busy area and may fill up quickly.

A pleasant experience all round. Ordering was easy and the food was ready on time. Service was friendly and fast. Our Octoberfest Special meals were plentiful and tasty with pumpkin pie to end with a sweet treat. Well done Swiss Chalet?

Extremely nice Hostess and Waitress. The problem was the food. My Wife ordered a chicken stir fry. She wanted more vegetables to substitute for the bed of rice. Couldn't be done. She asked to have the sauce on the side. A large serving bowl arrived with Steamed vegetables drowning in hot water and a purple sauce minus any chicken. The waitress apologized and wanted to take the bowl back to add the chicken but we said no because who knew what would arrive? I shared my caesar salad so she would have something to eat. Won't be back!
