My friend and I came here on a Sunday for lunch. Immediately arriving at the location, there was a lineup, so you know it's hot stuff.
The menu is pretty small with sections of dumplings, rice sets, hotpot, and the main selling point- noodles.
We both got the noodles (his spicy) and they are about $13-15 before tax. The bone broth was delicious, the noodles were tender yet firm, and the meal came with a side of kimchi.
Overall the food reminds me of Chinese hand pulled noodles- which is a very comforting and homey taste.
5/5 would come again. Price is good too

Love the Kalguksu noodles, so hearty and yummy. The bulgogi is one of the best I had. And the king size dumplings are also really really good! Liked everything we tried.

This is a great place for some Korean noodles. The kimchi was so fresh and tasty authentic . Great food and I had the Goyzo Kal guksu noodles . Their Goyzo are good size and filling and very tasty 😋

This is the place I go to whenever I miss Korean food.
As expected
I can see why the reviews are good. The dumplings are really filling and delicious. I would say they taste just like the dumplings you get in Korea.
The waitress and the owner are so friendly every time I go.
There are many Myeongdong Kalguksu branches in the upper neighborhood, but this might be the best place to eat.
I think it's a place worth visiting
ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS

This place is special.
I loved the flavour of the broth. The Korean dumplings are a must have and must try at this place. I personally prefer the kimchi one, but the original one is just as good.
The side dishes were subpar as there weren't much choices.
But the noodles and the broth is out of this world.
Give it a try (usually line a*s lineups tho)

Here is my favorite, the best homemade korean dumplings & kalguksu place👍👍👍 it may take a bit long for delivery, but it's the same if you can reheat it.
This is the original Myeongdong kalguksu restaurant. I've been going there for a long time without changing. I can't go often because I have to move to Dantan. Instead, they deliver sometimes! It's great because the quality is the same even if it's delivered or just reheated❤️

Just had lunch there 3 hours ago. Ordered the beef broth plain noodle and dumplings. We also ate most of the kimchi. Within an hour, I had a stomache. The restaurant was clean, neat and bright. Staff also provided good service.

You can only be put on the waiting list when you arrive at the restaurant, which is very inconvenient for customers. There is an app called yelp. What if it allows you to wait in advance and go there? Because there are so many people waiting, I think people will eat quickly and feel sick. Please allow me to wait for you in advance. It is very tiring for customers to have to wait 30 minutes to eat. I want to wait at home and then enter the restaurant. The food is very delicious. However, there is always red pepper powder in the cup... You need to inspect the cup or replace the dish washer. Every time I went, I got a new cup with red pepper powder in it. 3 out of 4 people said red pepper powder... . There was red pepper powder in the cup I replaced. There was only one yesterday ㅜㅜ

Restaurantji Recommends
I've been here before and it doesn't disappoint! I love the combos that are offered as it allows you to try more than one thing for a reasonable price. I enjoyed all the food, but I did find the seafood pancake to be more doughy than I'd like. The restaurant gets pretty packed on the weekend, but you can put your name down on the waitlist and they will message you when your table is ready!

Delicious homey and popular Korean restaurant! There's a system where you can put your name and number of people you want and they'll text you when your table is ready. It also shows how many people ahead of you on the screen which lets you guess when you should come back given the restaurant is quite small.
The food is really delicious! I especially recommend the signature noodle soup (so warm and comforting) and their kimchi! The dumplings were also huge. A great place to go on a winter day and the prices are reasonable too.

Came here with my mom, for dinner. Had the dumplings with kimchi and some with pork and veggies. Also ordered a bulgogi combo came with lots of sides a big bowl of kimchi which was amazing. And the bulgogi was the best i’ve ever had. The vibes of the place were nice, everyone around was enjoying their time drinking/eating. Staff were very friendly, smiley and polite. Definitely will come back soon!
