Large enough space and service are great.
Reasonable price, nice place for gathering. But they close early until 9 most day…

Updates: We have been there more recently and the food quality and quantity has improved. Also, if you like braised pork hog (jokbal) or braised pork belly (bossam), this is the place to go. Their shabu shabu is still pricey.
Come here only if you like plan Korean noodle or big Korean dumpling (myungdong). Their shabu shabu is expensive for the little amount of food you get. For $17.99 each person, you get only 13 pieces of thinly sliced beef for 2 people (that means 6 pieces of beef per person).

Authentic Korean food.
Out of order of aircon even hot weather
Love the kimchi here
This place is a hidden gem! The food was excellent. Tastes homemade - the kimchi is incredible and the noodles are to die for! The beef literally fell off the bone. The service is friendly and prompt. You won’t regret it!
Kimchi here is delicious, tastes so fresh and doesn't have that fermented/poppy feeling; also unlimited refills! The king-sized dumplings are also very tasty but our kiddos are not fans of them (more for us 💁🏻♀️). The kalguksu noodles are what our kids love.

The kimchi was absolutely delicious, and the fact that we could get unlimited refills was a bonus. The dumplings were generously stuffed with flavorful meat, and the MyungDong KalGukSoo was a standout. The noodles had the perfect chewy texture, and the broth was rich, hearty, and packed with flavour!

Best kimchi in Richmond Hill. Often eat there but this time, we tried the spicy Jokbal. It is tteokbokki flavored. 😋
