We ordered the spaghetti with tomato sauce for my son - he said it was very salty. We got a large pepperoni pizza - it was okay but quite oily. I got the lasagna for myself…it was very soggy (maybe because it was the last piece at the end of the day), and my husband got a sandwich which he said was okay. I went around 7pm so maybe that is why the food (other than the pizza) was so bad? Was I eating what was leftover at the end of the day? Probably, I think so. It was definitely nothing close to fresh. When I saw the food the warmer, I was thinking we should just leave but my husband already ordered the pizza so I tried to give it a chance. I don’t recommend, and will not be going back.

I ordered soup, ate it, and found it too salty. They wouldn't replace it with another meal, with a lady claiming they had no other options. However, she then offered to replace it with desserts. I responded, "Dessert for dinner?! No, I need dinner instead." As a result, I lost respect for the lady serving me.
My friend ordered the meal, spaghetti oils with garlic, tasted too much olive oil and salty too.

Worst experience ever! A friend and I talked over coffee and desert at 2PM. A server was requesting us to leave at 2:30, demanding for the table. We still had desert and coffee. I never had such unpleasant situation from a neighborhood eatery. 100% real story. All stories from all parties aside, it does not make sense. I will never go there again.

First time here, absolutely loved it. We'll be coming back. We got a couple sandwiches on fresh buns. Next time I might try one of their pizzas made in the wood stove.

guys i only tried like 2 flavours of gelato but the gelato here is PEAKKK it was also my first time trying gelato, and now their banana gelato is on my mind everyday bye- 😭🙏 its that delicious!! the service is really nice too

Nini D’ Aversa Bakery in Thornhill is a lovely spot with a great atmosphere and excellent service. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, making it a nice place to relax and enjoy their delicious gelato and pastries. However, one issue we've encountered is that their payment system occasionally doesn't work, and customers are required to pay with cash. Unfortunately, this happened to us last week when we went with friends, excited to try their famous treats, but had to leave because we didn’t have cash on hand. It’s a great bakery, but I hope they resolve this issue soon for more convenience.
