Had high hopes for bap zip and the food did not disappoint but the service was so off putting. The two servers barely talked to me, one of them just waved me to the seat and took the order. They did not check in on me or asked if I needed more side dishes. On the contrary, they were more attentive with other Korean speaking customers. The servers added side dishes for them, thanked them for coming etc., but for me, barely any conversation. It’s not fair to treat your customers differently simply because they can’t speak Korean, or you’re not confident enough to check in with their customers in English or for whatever reason. I won’t come back again even if the food is good.

Really bad experience! They don’t accept single gust. Came all the way to the restaurant starving , the host said they don’t have a table for single person. Serious discrimination! I will never come to this restaurant any more. What a terrible service!!!

Decent option for both dine-in and take out Korean food, the eggplant bibimbap is excellent which is our go to option at the restaurant. The katsu is well done too, lightly seasoned, crispy and not too oily with good side dishes to go with it. The North York store is great just like the Richmond Hill location, however there are definitely quite a few other great Korean offerings in the Yonge/Finch & Steeles area.

All I can say is the staffs should know how to talk and communicate BETWEEN staffs. Why yelling each other in front of all customers? You better know how to talk respectfully. I did not even have a chance to order the food because you all staffs killed the good atmosphere.

Came here again for dinner. This becomes my favourite place. We ordered a combo set (Grilled Mackerel and Soy Bean paste stew) and Gamjatan. Food always come in hot. The grilled Mackerel is so delicious and not dry at all. Gamjatan also tastes good. Highly recommended.

The atmosphere is really nice, very bright and nice decorations.

We got the dolsot bibimbaps and they were pretty good, I think there was some flavour lacking even with adding the gochujang. The rice did stay warm for a long time which is good.

Unfortunately I didn't really like the tteokboki, but it was cooked well.

I didn't receive any service, but I took the tip as a matter of course.
Does it make sense that there is no hand soap in the bathroom? I won't go again~

After looking at the menu photo, I ordered Yukjeon and Arrowroot Cold Noodles. But usually Mulnaengmyeon has a thick layer of beef, and it was also mentioned in the menu photo and description, so I asked about it and was told that I had to add $3 for no reason. Even when he came to pick me up, I asked him if he had waterceng without any sauce, and he shamelessly answered that he didn't have any. I felt so bad. I was so angry that I asked again over the phone, and someone said it had been 1 year and 8 months since the menu changed, and they hadn't updated the menu. Then, I should say that. They said no, and they said no, and I ended up going back to get the seasoning. They just put the seasoning on the counter and didn't even say an apology;; I've been to this place often, but this is the first time I've received this kind of service at a restaurant. You need to educate that lady again. I see, boss^^If you're going to provide service like that, don't be a server. It's not even worth a single star.
