The food is really the standout at this location my favorite is their eggplant dolsot bibimbap, which we crave at least once a month. The food is served very quickly, but once the food is served it's a little harder trying to get through attention of the wait staff. That being said they are friendly and try their best to meet your needs.

The food itself was actually okay, and we had made a reservation for dinner. Taste-wise, there were no major complaints.

However, the main issue was the lack of service. Aside from the food being brought to the table, we essentially had to serve ourselves for everything else. We picked up our own utensils, got our own water, and even grabbed our own bill at the end.

It seemed like the restaurant was very busy and only had two front staff, which likely contributed to the situation. That said, at a dinner-time capacity, the service level was practically non-existent. We still ended up leaving a tip out of obligation, but realistically, there wasn’t any service provided.

Overall, the experience was just okay. If you plan to visit, I’d recommend avoiding peak or busy hours, and coming in with the expectation that there may be little to no table service.

Visited twice already and I think I've found my new favourite Korean restaurant in Toronto! Their food actually tastes like the food in Korea, and price-wise, it's fairly reasonable.

The seafood sundubu was the star of the show for me - it had a much better umami flavour than a lot of places nearby - I'm still thinking about it....

The seafood pancake was also perfectly crispy, not doughy/flour-y at all, and not soaked in oil. Highly recommend!

It was my first visit, and we had the 새우장 비빔밥 and 육회 비빔밥. They come with a soup, and the side dishes are well served. Honestly, even just the salad, seaweed, and kimchi would have been enough for the banchan. The seaweed is something locals seem to really like, but the fish cake felt less memorable. The kimchi and salad were very good, and the portions were reasonable. The prices aren’t cheap, but these days many places charge around the same, so it doesn’t feel particularly overpriced. The shrimp soy sauce bibimbap is tasty, but eating only this repeatedly could feel a bit heavy. It might be better to order something like 돌솥비빔밥 and get the shrimp soy sauce as a smaller side portion, if that’s an option. If you like spicy food, the lunch specials also looked like a good choice.

Highly recommend
Their Soy marinated shrimp and the tonkatsu.
The tonkatsu is massive but moist and not dry.
Delicious, I would say 1 can probably feed 2 people.

The food was amazing, the atmosphere was great, and the service was excellent. The beef tartare bibimbap was delicious, with fresh and well-seasoned vegetables. The seafood pancake was crispy, buttery, and a generous portion. The banchans were flavorful and offered a good variety.

We tried the Beef Tartare Bibimbap ($24) and the Soy Shrimp Bibimbap ($19). Both dishes had decent flavors; I've had beef tartare bibimbap at other places, and I found the flavor here to be a bit on the lighter side, which is fine, but I would have preferred the rice to be served hotter. I was also expecting the rice to come in a hot stone bowl, but it didn’t. However, the addition of pear was a lovely, refreshing touch!

The Pork Gukbap and Blood Sausage Gukbap we had for lunch were both really good. The service was on point with frequency & speed. I think they can keep the inner door closed on cold days to keep the draft out.

This is the best pork gukbap in town! I drove in the rain to come eat it today. The turn over is really fast so I hardly need to wait. As you can see in the video, the soup comes piping hot with lots of meat and chives. There are also many bibimbap options too which are just as delicious. After eating this soup, I always feel energized! Highly recommend and will be back! There's 5% discount if you pay by cash. Plenty of free parking.

Had a great meal here tonight! The portions are huge — just look at that pork cutlet, it’s literally the size of my arm 😆 The sauce was rich and flavorful, and the meat stayed crispy even under the curry. The bibimbap was also fantastic — perfectly seasoned beef, fresh veggies, and that golden yolk on top made it extra satisfying.

The side dishes were tasty and fresh, and everything came out hot and quickly. The restaurant had a cozy atmosphere and friendly service. Definitely recommend coming hungry!
