If nothing else it is convenient. When I stay in Markham I almost always stay at the Courtyard hotel and this cafe is the most convenient place to grab a quick breakfast before heading to the office. The service is hit or miss though, depending on who serves you. Some people are very friendly and attentive but some clearly should not be in the food service industry.Anyway, in a pinch this cafe is also very convenient for a late burger or glass of wine. The food isn't perfect but it is better than walking all over Markham late at night.

Not impressed with the kitchen options or the fact that they will not remove / substitute toppings off your food ...
Tonight I ordered from Skip the Dishes. The meal comes with a bottle of coke with a top where you need a bottle opener. Not many people carry a bottle opener with them at a hotel. So I called the front desk to ask if I could borrow one from the bar. Not only did the young gentleman from the front desk (wish I had gotten his name but I know he bikes to the hotel from home!) bring the opener to my room...he said to keep it as it was a gift from the hotel! Totally unexpected and amazing service! This young man made my night much more enjoyable. Thank you...you have an extremely friendly and courteous employee!
Average food, no service. Do not call this a restaurant please.
Only had one breakfast here while staying in the hotel and found it to be totally uninspiring. Food was warm at the best and the choice was poor. This could have been because we arrived 30 minutes before closing time and it may have been that food was running out and due to the limited numbers eating here, no more food was going to be cooked.
big open area to spread out in for a business meeting; good menu for light meals; efficient and friendly staff and a reasonable wine and beer list. Oh and good coffee too.
