“I just wanted to take the tome to acknowledge the amazing efforts of Colin (who I've now known to be the GM of this location) . I had called with a question, simply asking what the daily vegetable was before I placed my order through Skip the Dish. I wanted to make sure the sode was not say roasted red pepper and beans or something. During our briefing talk, I explained I had a food allergy to peppers. He said he would make sure there were no peppers. Much to my delight, the food was absolutely amazing, and I had no issues with anything. What particularly caught me off guard, was that Colin had essentially taken time aside to ensure the safety of my meal, and inquired about all ingredients to the kitchen. He found that there were pepper flakes in the coleslaw side, so he actually attached a had written note with the coleslaw aside, amd substitutions available that accommodated my allergy. I have yet to ever see a restaurant worker take such initiative, let alone learning that this was the GM whom I'm sure had many other things to do that evening. I was absolutely blown away. So Colin, if you ever see this, you made my night, and you've solidified a loyal family of clients to Kelseys, solely because of you. Thank you”

“Stopped in to Lakehead Beers Saturday night after work. Tried a Subdivision large Deluxe pizza. It was both very tasty and very filling! Toppings were flavourful and the crust was crispy the way we like it! Had enough left over for lunch the next day. We will definitely be back to try more from their menu!”

“Attended a private event here most recently. I must confess I was never there before. However after such a great experience in both the food quality, atmosphere and service, I think I found our new go to place in TBay for dining out. Hats off to Giorg Cucina e Barra.”

“Me and my partner came for Valentines Day dinner. Most restaurants can be super stressful and chaotic on holiday's, but I cannot stress enough how well the entire Montanas team did. Making the reservation and calling to confirm was so easy, service and food were impeccable, and everything seemed perfectly under control. I was extremely impressed by how well everyone performed under pressure and I look forward to the many times I'll return.”

“Crazy busy, with a crowded PlayPlace! Only 2 tables in the kids' area made for a lot of parents just standing around trying to be out of the way. Interesting menu options compared to the US, but food was good!

You get more Popeye's chicken for the same price as KFC. This was so much better than KFC. Never going there again and it used to be a favourite. You don't need to provide a cell phone number like you do when signing up for KFC. We got a free 6 pack of chicken nuggets for signing up online. Chrunchy, so delicious, there's a reward system. Their mashed potatoes were incredible. I hope they don't change unless they find a way to improve. Popeye's is perfect the way it is.”

Parking: There are so many barriers when it comes to parking at the location where Windy Shores Cafe is located because 1) I need a phone to pay for parking 2) I need to pay to access a public park by vehicle 3) I need to pay for a phone plan to have data to pay for my parking metre. It’s not the business’s fault, however it is clear they’re losing a significant amount of customers and revenue because of parking.”

“I always use the drive thru and usually only order a tea but I only go in the day because in the evening it doesn’t taste as good. Sometimes I’ll go alone or with my kids they usually get a sandwich or something else. My youngest gets thé chocolate milk and a cookie I love the woman that’s always on the till during the day with the glasses I’m always giving her a tip because she’s always so nice. If I’m with my pug she always asks if she can have a treat and if I’m alone she always is like you’re alone today. Super friendly staff person. Wish I knew her name.”

Although our mistake, Christina (the restaurant Manager) and her team amazingly were able to accommodate all of us as tables emptied out. “The biggest thing I want to share here is that we left a wallet at this facility. It had a fair amount of cash in it. It was 5 hrs later that we discovered it. We called and they had already secured it in their office. It was a week later till we were able to get friends of ours to pick it up. All the contents were still in it.”

“Ordered poached eggs med-hard and got runny, ordered soft bacon and got crispy (near desiccated), paid for side fruit and got fruit nearing end of life (browning, soft). Service was ok … did not ask if everything was good. Just dropped the bill. When I mentioned the fruit was off, she said she would tell the cook but did not remove from bill or offer fresh. Used to love Tina’s. Fresh fruit and so tasty. Really gone downhill. I’ll give the restaurant a D- for food. Waitress was nice, just not willing to see customer satisfaction … I won’t be back.”
