“I hsve grown up om this neighborhood for over 35 years most of those living down the street and I'm shocked that for so many of those people didn't know you were able to get the most amazing assorted subs! I'm not sure if they still sell those sadly I have since moved away and tho I still pass it when visiting having had the chance to stop in .I used to attend kings way and loved to walk on my lunch break to get a sub and just loved walking in and the smell of the place:) who can resist that smell and if I waslucky I was able to score a horn or pastry by lunch tho there usually wasn't much left of the baking. These are the places we need to support in these times because places like bakeries and delis are fading and soon will be just a memory it makes me happy when I drive by on a visit and I always comment " oh look dogwoods is still open!"“

“I frequent this bakery usually on a monthly basis to get the feta oregano bred its only made one day of the week I have purchased soups from them and if you want homemade noodles for chicken noodle soup this is the place, I don't know of any other resturaunt in the city that makes their own noodles other than maybe Italian for their pasta dishes

“I am always very happy with the taste and quality of the cakes I get from Nucci's. I have special ordered many order cakes for a variety of occasions: birthday, retirement, family reunion, 'just because', and they are always fresh, beautiful, and tasty. They have filled my strangest requests (a Chuck Norris cake) and are always ready with a persian or a sally ann when you don't have time for cake. If you are looking for a last minute cake from the display case I recommend going early as they sell out during the day.“

“Finally got to Niva's. It reminds me of my favourite restaurants in Southern Ontario, and I mean that in the best way possible. Amazing staff, great service, prices are very reasonable, and food is absolutely outstanding! Looking forward to trying out Niva's again.
