Great place to go fill up when you’re with your family or on a date. We brought our boys there while in Thunder Bay for a hockey tournament and Dino was so friendly and welcoming. Really made our visit enjoyable! With 2 boys it’s more than enough food to take home for leftovers! My boys also love the free refills of iced tea!

If you think you're good at Tetris and if you think you're good at Jenga come over to Mongo's grills and do your best to stack a bowl and then have a drink it's a good place but don't all you people start rushing over there because I don't want it all crowded when I get there again just kidding ......... Nice quick Mongolian style restaurant. Food was good and the vegetables seemed fresh. Didn't realize that you get a choice of rice, egg, or wrap as sides until at the grill so I could have used less noodles. Fun to play will mixing the sauces. Would certainly return here.

Stopped here for lunch with some work friends, it was great. They were able to accommodate our party of 10 when we walked in. Staff were very friendly. I have an allergy to fish, they were checking at every step to ensure that my food had no contact with seafood. It’s a set price to fill your bowl so you can pile it up as high as you’d like from the buffet of ingredients. So many veggies and proteins to choose from! You also choose your own oils and sauces, I asked the staff for recommendations since the selection was overwhelming. Each dish comes with 2 free sides (rice, eggs, wraps) I skipped that and had mine on its own, it was delicious. Great price, I will definitely be back!Parking: Lots of free parking out front in the plaza

This spot definitely gave chain restaurant vibes. It was clean, and we went early, like at 11:45 or so. It was my first time there, and there's specific balancing skills I didn't know I'd need to tap into. I loaded up on the meats and sauses and tried to make space for my veggies, lol! The cooks were attentive and flexible with our changing requests, and we were so thankful for that. It's a lot of food, folks, so go on an empty stomach!

Oh how the pandemic has deteriorated one of my favourite restaurants in the city.Prices of course, like everywhere have gone up. $23 for one bowl, add $9 if you want a second - and of course you can't take leftovers home if you get the "Mega Mongo". Server failed to mention that. A lot of food was wasted this night. They've gotten rid of their Birthday bonuses (free bowl) - the waiter stating that no restaurants did this anymore (which I know is false as I've been to three restaurants in the last month and a half that both did something for the birthday party - La Casa Nostra, the Keg and Montanas). Now you don't even get an icecream. The food was fine, no issues there. I think the fact that bugged me the most was the removal of the salad bar. Why? You literally prep EVERYTHING for a salad bar except for the actual salad and salad dressings (and maybe croutons). How expensive was that that you found it necessary to remove part of the menu? The building hasn't been updated since it originally opened and the wear and tear is really starting to show.$35/person average for a party of five, where 2 people didn't get the Mega and 2 people only had water - ridiculous. This is why people stay home.

We need mutton ribs, mutton soup, mutton meat. Mongolians don't eat rice and vegetables, they only eat beef and mutton, this is not a Mongolian store.

My brother and girlfriend had never eaten at a restaurant like this before so I brought them to try. We had one of the friendliest servers I think I've ever had at any dining experience. The chefs were helpful, informative and polite. The food was delicious. We all had lots to eat and lots of variety. Will be back!
