Often visiting Scan Deli because my old good friend owns it, I was a bit biased. The manager and her friend had just locked the doors as we walked up. I inquired if we could make some purchases as we are travelling. As her friend chated away in Finnish she unlockeď and invited us in. Many items that we favour in Northern Finland were found, other items of interest were pointed out to us. When living in Thunder Bay my mother and I always went to get bread, sandwich meats, some baking whatever she had decided to get. Love the service plus at times we would get a treat that was the best. Since I have moved away from Thunder Bay never stops me from going and visiting my old hometown. Things have changed but we still try to support the business of the Scandinavian Deli.
