Some people wait fpr ribs fest but we have a tony romas all year long seriously in my opinion best ribs in the city. Change my mind
Went for mothers day, it was a bit chaotic because well..mothers day. Tony Roma's is not really a good place to go when it's an estimated busy busy day, any other day it's immaculate. My mothers steak wasn't cooked right the whole way through, but it still tasted good.
We loved the food, shrimp & salmon, ribs , and grilled chicken with Salad.
Service was slow but very professional .
I liked the furniture and lighting however I would prefer it to be more modern style.
The only restaurant in Thunder Bay that prepares it's Seafood Pasta dish properly! All the other restaurants have a runny, thin soupy sauce whereas Tony Roma's sauce is creamy and the entire meal absolutely delicious! Generous with the seafood as well, which was a nice surprise. Atmosphere was great, not loud and noisy. A wonderful experience.
Tony Romas is one of my favorite eating experiences in Thunder Bay. Exquisite menu with great selections. Appetizers are delicious and are offered as daily specials. Service and staff are professional and personable. The atmosphere is lovely and aesthetically pleasant. This is an absolute for dinner with special friends and family. There is a bar side with sports dntertainment and seating for local get together as well. Two thumbs up 👍 👍 Solid 5 star experience
The Shrimp and Salmon Piccata was absolutely incredible! Paired with the rice pilaf and coleslaw and followed by the apple crumble and an Irish coffee, this was a dinner to remember. A huge Thank You to the kitchen staff and Mitch!
Where do I begin, this location is by far the best out of the remaining tony romas. The service is friendly and on point. Big shout out to Paul the sauce man. The food is delicious. We stop here every time we’re going through thunderbay. Don’t stop what you’re doing. !!
This was one of our favourite places in Thunder Bay, ON and for some reason it is the only one in Ontario. We make it a point to visit whenever we are in the area.
Our favourite items are the baby back ribs with the original sauce. While visiting in May 2024, we also went for their onion appetizer and their toffee pudding. All of it was delicious and the atmosphere was relaxing.
I've been here several times. I enjoy this location primarily because of the atmosphere. And the happy hour offer is simply fantastic.
In terms of the service, they are good yet a little slow-moving. The dry ribs that they produce here are the reason I come here, I really love them.
Food is always great.

Took our 79yr old mother here for dinner. I didn’t catch her name but our server was outstanding. The bartender made amazing cocktails and came over to make sure we all liked them. The food was off the charts tasty. . Check out the thickness of my prime rib! Highly recommend this restaurant and can’t wait to go back. .
Why would you charge 75$ for a steak meal and not send any sauce with it? Who eats steak without sauce?! I'm so upset I spent $75 on a meal I can't eat cause it doesn't have any sauce and it's dry! :( wow!
After 7 p.m., appetizers are pretty good. I had a house red, pickles, wings, and, Quesadillas. All appetizers are served for half-price. Cannot take home.
Just about the best bourbon sour I've ever had. The food was fantastic as well. Thanks for the great birthday dinner. I will definitely be back.
Really good food, service was good. I would say the value you get maybe better than the keg in tbay. I frequent both but out of both chains Tony Romas has better value. Atmosphere is better at the keg but service is on par at both. I would pick Tony Romas in tbay over the keg in terms of value, service
