Very bad pastries and bad attitude of the staff, they gave me an incorrect item and refused to exchange it

Delectable pastries. One knows they're good because of how heavy they are.

The desserts are fresh and tasty and the service is great! Come early if you want cheese croissants before they run out!

I bought a French palmier cookie today. And it was hard as hell. I could hurt my gums easily. I brought it back for exchange, and the person at the counter screamed at me in front of my baby that it was supposed to be like this. I never received such service before from a baker. Check your pastry before buying it.

Today I bought a chocolate cake (30$), I asked them to write the birthday wish on top of it. They write it absulutely worst. There was an Indian woman in cash counter. Her behaviour was very rude.

This is my favourite bakery in Toronto by far. There's a great selection of baked goods, though mostly staples and not too many new flavours. Prices are very fair; I often find I can't justify the prices at other bakeries. The croissants are flakey and buttery, the danishes are fresh and tart, and the savoury pastries hit the spot. I find myself frequently finding excuses to visit since we moved since there's nothing like it in Leslieville.

I would have been okay with the price and the unfriendly older staff member if the pastry and éclair had tasted good. Won't come again.

Cakes are absolutely horrible, priced higher than grocery store cakes but tastes worse than grocery store cakes. For the price they charge you expect quality like other bakeries in

Their danishes are a 3/5, but we ordered a Black Forest cake today ($30) and it was the worst cake we’ve ever had. The cake and the whip cream were incredibly dry and the cherry filling tasted like it was out of a can. The cake tasted as though it was weeks old.

I absolutely love this bakery and I’ve been going there for 2 years but the last 2 times I’ve gone and gotten eclear they have been extremely dry, WAYYY smaller and the chocolate tastes weird. I’m very disappointed since that was my favourite dessert ?

I’m sorry, I don’t know what happened but I just got charged $4 for the skinniest, driest, most miserable baguette I’ve ever had in my life. It should of been thrown out. Sad, they used to be good I don’t know what happened. Not even worth the one star I’m afraid. It was also wrapped in plastic and you never ever wrap bread in plastic.
