I stumbled upon this gem on a rainy Sunday. It has a really welcoming and cozy vibe. The food was great, as authentic Italian as you'll find. Fresh ingredients ....a real treat! Loved the music too .....really contributed to the charm and ambiance. Played one of my favs Nashville Skyline, thank you for that! I'm looking forward to my next visit. I highly recommend.

The Il Padrino was perfectly spicy. Exactly the lunch place I was looking for.

AiFam Sandwich Shop and Food Market is a family-owned Italian sandwich spot on Harbord Street that feels warm and welcoming as soon as you walk in. It blends a traditional Italian deli style with a modern downtown vibe and is known for fresh panini made with quality meats and ingredients, many imported from Italy.

We tried their “Il Padrino” and “Capricciosa” panini, and both stood out with crispy fresh bread and a great balance of mortadella, prosciutto, salami, cheese, veggies, and sauces. The combination of fresh bread, curated deli meats, and flavorful sauces gives each sandwich a really nice touch.

Besides sandwiches, they also carry Italian-style groceries like pasta, cheeses, desserts, and drinks, which makes the visit feel like a quick trip to a small Italian market. It’s a great stop if you’re looking for a simple but high-quality lunch in the Harbord Village area.

This place is incredibly inconsistent. went there for the first time in 2024 and it was delicious, but they have decreased in quality SO much since then. 90% of the time i have ordered from uber eats the bread is incredibly stale and difficult to eat. they usually give very very minimal amounts of prosciutto and sauce for a place that exclusively sells sandwiches. if you ask for extra of either of those things they will charge your account for it, and then you won’t probably won’t even get what you asked for. i once ordered the alla romana sandwich, and recieved a single slice of prosciutto. a single thin slice of prosciutto. this place is a joke. do not buy their sandwiches.

Great sandwich. So many options and ingredients imported from Italy. Beautiful interior and the owner painted the murals on the wall herself!!

The fresh panini was delicious. I order the capricciosa panini with a brio soda. The atmosphere was cozy and the cook was very nice. They have old movies on in the background that are quite entertaining.

The focaccia here is excellent. However, I just found the sandwich to be on the salty side. The sandwich was generous in proportion and enjoyable. It just need to tone down a bit on salt.

As for the service, the guy at the front is just a chill guy blasting Metallica as I walked in.

The best sandwiches in Toronto, possibly the best in Canada. All fresh ingredients picked with care by the owners and a great authentic vibe inside. Fun place to eat an enrapturing sandwich while watching a random Italian soccer game playing on TV.

prit :]

Great portions, sandwiches were pretty large considering the price.

Wasn’t too crowded when I came in for lunch, ordered the Il Padrino which was ready really quickly too‼️

Definitely liked the flavour profile — had a bit of a kick but nothing overpowering.

Also got some great music recommendations :]

Place looks like a cool hangout inside, great cafe style atmosphere.
I had the Il Padrino, the flavor and freshness of the foccacia, toppings, and cold cuts were all excellent. My lack of stars is for the portion size vs price. It was quite expensive for the size of the sandwich and amount of cold cuts used
