I visited for a solo lunch. The staff were all genuinely lovely. I really enjoyed the complexity and balance of the “Hot and Bothered” cocktail. The accolades for the wedge salad and lemon meringue pie are fo’ real. The salad is basically perfect and the pie an absolute delight in its presentation and flavour. I enjoyed grooving to the vinyl while munching. Thanks So much Alouette!

Went to Aloette last night with a friend and grabbed seats at the bar for snacks and cocktails. Our bartender/waitress, Cat, was genuinely warm, attentive, and impressively knowledgeable about the menu. Her Old Fashioned was flawless, easily one of the better ones I’ve had. The ambience was a full 10/10: great music, thoughtful design, and a lively but relaxed energy. Food quality and presentation were equally on point. Everything felt intentional and well-executed. I’ll absolutely be back.

One of my favorite restaurants. It's perfect for special occasions. The staff is always so lovely and attentive, which makes the experience even better. I highly recommend the wedge salad and the lamb skewers both are incredible. The cocktails are great too. The only downside is that as a couple, you’ll most likely be seated at the bar. That said, one time a booth was available and they kindly offered it to us, which I really appreciated.

We had an incredible, fun server who recommended a few things for my friend and I for our first time. I could order 50 of the sweet potato side dish, it was gd angels singing on my taste buds. The french toast was so delicious, exactly what I was craving. the savoury cheese waffles were so good and the fried chicken was so juicy, it made me re-love chicken. I will for sure go back to ry my way through the menu.

Celebrated our anniversary here and I would recommend this place for special occasions! Service is excellent and beyond our expectations. Especially loved the beef tataki appetizer.

What a fun and cozy spot. Came here on a date night and was not disappointed. The hamachi was really fun, the burger was incredible. The lemon meringue was the perfect bow on a treat of a meal.

Aloette is on repeat in my playlist. I love the design of the interior, the food, the service, the selection of wines and the connection to the city via the large windows that provide a view of Spadina and Queen. Patrick Kriss created a true gem restaurant. I'll be back....

I would have put 4 star but this is the first time I’ve been to a restaurant and they add 20% to the bill which is a big turn off! We we go back for that reason out of principle even though I always tip. Even if the food was good this adding 20% is weird and sketchy.

We had the best server. I think her name was Hannah. She was really sweet, explained the food really well and paid attention to our needs. We never missed water. Thank you for an amazing service!

Our server was wonderful! He was asking the right questions, was positive, knowledgeable about the menu, he was smiling and kept our table prestine! The wedge salad never disappoints and the burger was perfectly juicy! The Aglianico was a superb wine too!

It's an unpretentious restaurant that surprises with a brief but very solid menu. The Brussels sprouts are the most delicious I've ever tasted in my life, the beef tartar is exquisite. The lemon meringue pie was too lemony for my taste. Overall, an excellent restaurant; the Michelin guide should give them a star already instead of just a recommendation.
