Aloette always has the best vibe, best food and service. One of my favourite restaurants in Toronto. Xoxo
The food was excellent as always and our server at the bar was fantastic. Always a pleasure.
Food is outstanding and staff are wonderful. The background music is an issue. A little rap may be ok, too much of it is a misfit to the quality of the experience. Modify the playlist and this becomes a favorite Toronto destination
Excellent food and drinks!
Delicious meal, the foie gras was a highlight, but I'd order everything again, and the service was absolutely outstanding. It was attentive but not overbearing, every staff member was extremely knowledgeable, and table maintenance was impeccable. Despite this level of polish, it never felt pretentious and it genuinely seemed like the staff liked each other and their jobs.
Very solid spot for a great dinner. Favourite dish was definitely the octopus carpaccio. Fish was cooked well and the skin was crispy. Ordered a medium steak but it was undercooked, good sear on the outside and paired well with the chimichurri. Lemon meringue pie was great especially with the toasted marshmallows on top to balance out the tartness of the lemon. Recommend making a reservation.

I will start with the positive aspects. The service was excellent, the decor is exquisite and the fries were delicious. On the other hand, the seats were very straight back and uncomfortable, the burger was tasteless and the food in general was mediocre. The worst part was the 90’s hip hop music blaring in our ears, which the server assured me was the only music the owners would play. The look of the place was that of a dignified, high end bar with none of the refinement. I could not wait to leave!

Came solo for late dinner. Food was outstanding. Vibe was great - it was loud, but that's to be expected at 9:30pm. Staff were super attentive. I will be back for sure.
Amazing. One of the best burgers in the city. Atmosphere is warm. Service was on point. I went for a laid back birthday dinner and every dish I selected was a 10.

Got the Aloette Burger, Wedge Salad with fried chicken, Eggs Benedict and the Lemon Meringue Pie.
All items were good however not outstanding enough to justify the price tag since equally good or even better food can be found for much lower price in the city.
Out of everything, only the lemon meringue pie was unique and good enough as something I would want to come back for

Fantastic! Cozy intimate ambiance, the sharing plates delivered flavour in spades but the real star of the show was the service. Devin, our server, took his time to walk through the menu with us, making thoughtful recommendations and making sure we had the best experience possible. Highly recommended.

Celebrating our anniversary, the staff congratulated us with a glass of sparking wine. It was a wonder start to an incredible dinner date.
This place is sooooooo good. Never had dinner here but even the appetizers are insanely good. The staff are so kind - shoutout Cat she is great. I will be back.
update: I went back. Not Cat but I tried the steak and wow it was something to write home about. I will be back.

I am struggling with how to review. I think they are more deserving of a 3 star but not quite a 4.
I recently went and had: the wedge salad, fries, lobster shrimp fritter, sea bream, fried chicken and oysters. Plus had the hot and bothered and the peach cocktail and wine and beer. Apple pie desert.
Cocktails were great, though the peach one had foam but they served with a straw which is odd since straw means drinking from the bottom of the glass and not getting the foam in each sip.
The food was good but nothing to write home about and nothing was particularly memorable or something I would be itching to eat again. I enjoyed the sea bream the most. The fritters were a huge disappointment. My wife did love the salad and the apple pie dessert was fantastic. I think if the meal was maybe $50 cheaper I would have a different opinion but for the price I was expecting more.
Atmosphere is nice and service was good.
I am happy I went to check the place out but I definitely won’t be a repeat customer. Me and my wife spent $300 here and for that much there are plenty of other places to try in the city.
If you have money and want to try somewhere then go. You will enjoy. If you don’t have money and this is a big splurge for you I would recommend somewhere else if food enjoyment is top of your priority. If you are a foodie then Aloette will disappoint.
