I visited for a solo lunch. The staff were all genuinely lovely. I really enjoyed the complexity and balance of the “Hot and Bothered” cocktail. The accolades for the wedge salad and lemon meringue pie are fo’ real. The salad is basically perfect and the pie an absolute delight in its presentation and flavour. I enjoyed grooving to the vinyl while munching. Thanks So much Alouette!
Went to Aloette last night with a friend and grabbed seats at the bar for snacks and cocktails. Our bartender/waitress, Cat, was genuinely warm, attentive, and impressively knowledgeable about the menu. Her Old Fashioned was flawless, easily one of the better ones I’ve had. The ambience was a full 10/10: great music, thoughtful design, and a lively but relaxed energy. Food quality and presentation were equally on point. Everything felt intentional and well-executed. One of my favorite restaurants. It's perfect for special occasions. The staff is always so lovely and attentive, which makes the experience even better. I highly recommend the wedge salad and the lamb skewers both are incredible. The cocktails are great too. The only downside is that as a couple, you’ll most likely be seated at the bar. That said, one time a booth was available and they kindly offered it to us, which I really appreciated.
