I recently visited this Mexican restaurant and had a really good experience. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, and the décor gave it an authentic touch. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure everything was okay throughout the meal. The food was fresh and flavorful — the tacos were especially delicious and well-seasoned, and the portions were generous for the price., but overall it didn’t ruin the experience. I’d definitely come back again to try more dishes!

UPDATED REVIEW: Last time I visited their quality had gone down by a lot. I'm pretty sure I was given stale food or food that had been already cooked and just preheated again. The atmosphere of the place used to be chill and family like. Now it was as if I had stepped into a tacky club, lights were off, music was blaring from giant speakers and disco lights all over. I wouldn't bring my family here anymore. Sadly it did used to be good and it had potential but within 2 years they had lower its quality. Torontonians are big foodies, change the food, change the outcome 😮‍💨

We've been there a few times with my husband. If you're around the area, we recommend getting their tacos with a side of birria. It's a must!! So delicious and flavourful.
We also had their horchata, a bit sweet for my taste but perfect for my husband. And their mini empanadas were so tasty, wish they had a larger size available for take-out.

This was such a lovely meal, everything was delicious. The quesabirria was bursting with flavour and the meat was melt-in-your-mouth tender. Consommé was rich and comforting, perfect for dipping (or sipping tbh). The taquitos were also amazing—crispy and loaded with meat, no skimping here.

Service was super thoughtful, they gave us an extra consommé without us even asking since we were sharing. Prices were very reasonable for the quality and portions. Honestly? Hidden gem status. Can’t wait to go back.

i guess it used to be good?
its name and menu items suggest its a breakfast place but they open at 12. ordered chilaquiles. got a plate full of tortilla chips with maybe 3 teaspoons of salsa sprinkled over them, clearly from a can/jar. overcooked bland meat. on the side was a small bowl of refried beans, also from a can, heated in the microwave. shout out to Herdez

The food wasn't bad. It was somewhere in the middle of the road. I ordered Tampiquena, and the rice and beans were pretty nice along with the cheese and soft tacos underneath the steak (which was pretty thin). The food was not as flavourful as I expected, and certainly could have been better considering that it was $25 worth (compared to Eggsmart and Wimpy's). I could hear the family next to me complaining about the quality of their food in terms of how well it was cooked (although the cook did personally walk over to check if there was something wrong). In terms of the setting/atmosphere, there could be more tables for two people or those flying solo. Having tables right near the ordering desk makes it feel crowded when the place is not full most of the time. The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful and had a pleasant attitude, so that was nice to see.

claims to be mexican, but the owners are not. I tried birria tacos, super greasy and the consome tasted like water. When i listened their accent, I noticed they were not mexican, that the main reason the flavor is really bad! a true mexican place will know how it taste. if you want real birria tacos go to Birria Catrina.
