We went to the Aria for a birthday dinner before the leafs home opener.
Food was ok, quality is one thing but I expect a little more if you charge those prices. It’s way to normal for an Italien restaurant downtown who charge that much. Quality was great but nothing top notch.
Our server was nice to, but buddy don’t make stuff up if guest ask about wine. Don’t tell them it’s from Italy and you can’t get it anywhere here. People can google and find out that the lcbo in Milton was actually carrying 209 bottles or something. That was a little naaaaa
The place is quit nice. Crowded and loud is and understatement but I assume that’s because of hockey. I personally don’t like the toilettes in the hallway with a code but I think they can’t do it elsewhere.
Overall good experience that could be better

Nice decor and wonderful service. Drinks were great, especially enjoyed the mocktail and wine, so refreshing. Food was decent, no wow factor. Wished the salmon risotto portion is a bit smaller and add extra ingredients like clams to brighten the dish a bit. Anyway, a decent meal before the game.

We came here for the anniversary. To be honest, we left very disappointed. The food was mediocre, calamari starter was overcooked and chewy, pasta was okay. Because of the price we had hight expectations but unfortunately the food was bland.

Not sure why this place doesn't have a better rating. Food was very very good, correct portions, great flavours, authentic Italian, the staff was super caring, and a great interior design. It's been open for quite a long time too, but the menu is modern and not overpriced. Even Lady Gaga liked it :)

Had an event here and I’d never been before. From start to finish the team - led by Sal - was amazing. I have dietary restrictions and called in advance. They not only accommodated me but made me what can only be described as a feast - even going as far as to make passed food items I could have, food at the common food stations I could have, and in addition a special plate prepared of some protein and salad especially made for me that I could have. I felt very cared for and included and it was all SO delicious and SO fresh! If you have dietary restrictions and struggle to find a place for a lunch, dinner or event - look no further! Great evening ambiance with moody but cozy lighting, helpful staff were very attentive, and the food is DELICIOUS fresh and healthy. Thanks Sal for a wonderful night! Will definitely come again!

Always a good experience at Aria Ristorante, especially with the seafood options. The sea bream was excellent, and I highly recommend it. I also like their burrata and pasta/gnocchi. While the restaurant is pricier than similar establishments, it makes sense given the proximity to Scotiabank Arena. The service is usually on point, but it was very slow before one of the events we were going to, and we were a little late. The manager was very friendly and apologetic.

Good place. A little on a higher end price wise so you’d expect a little better food but it was still a good experience. Amazing service though.

We went for a family meal after a botched service at a different restaurant the night prior. We were greeted with warmth. The service was exceptional. The owners came over for a personal touch, and we got to chatting. My mother-in-law, who doesn’t have a lot of friends in Toronto, was greeted in her native tongue (Italian), and treated like family (as were we all). It was wonderful watching her reliving shared experiences with the owner (Elena), realizing we have common friends, bonding over delicious childhood favourite food, not feeling rushed to finish our dishes, and such a comfortable ambiance of plush cushions to sit on. As much as I put an emphasis on food, the hospitality at this beautiful spot is bar none. I can’t believe I waited so long to try this stunning cuisine. I truly felt like I was in Italy, living the European life style, sharing food with loved ones. If you haven’t tried Aria yet, this is your “poke button” to do so. You won’t regret it!

Service was slow and inefficient and we did not enjoy our food. Everything was off from the apps, to the mains including the wine and espresso. Would not recommend and would definitely not go back.
The mushroom ravioli was great! Service was slow and below average. I was not greeted when I showed up and I waited for a good ten minutes before anyone even acknowledged. Once seated, the server came after another ten minutes to ask for drinks and drink came after another fifteen minutes. I get that I went there on a busy night when the hockey game was being played. But, I would not come back again. Even if food is below average, service can make you feel special so you come back again.

Went at noon for a quick lunch. The owner said we had to be out by 1 which is fair except that the food didn’t arrive until 1240.
My friend had the branzino which she quite liked. I ordered what the waiter said was a burger and turned out to be a broken meat patty without a bun which was raw inside.
I sent it back, which I have never done in a restaurant before. The other thing I have never done, which I did, was leave no tip. Very disappointing.
