A few months ago, I had the pleasure of visiting Athens during a business trip to Toronto, after a friend’s recommendation. The heartwarming welcome from George (the owner) and his staff was matched only by the amazing flavors they served—each dish transported me straight back to the motherland.

Couldn’t be more impressed. We are part Greek (been to Greece several times) and went to other places on Danforth only to be very disappointed. After checking out the pictures of this place on Google, we felt it looked very authentic so wanted to give it a try. Boy did it deliver. One of the best Greek places I’ve had in a long time. Reminds me of the last time I went to Greece. Don’t look further if you’re looking for authentic Greek food (or just good food in general)...

Had dinner here tonight with my family. My goodness…. If you are looking for authentic Greek food made with love and care, and a high level of service, you found the right place. It’s been a long time since I have found somewhere that serves delicious authentic Greek food and service, and I am so happy to have found this hidden gem. Will be back over and over again.
