This is a new discovery and I’m obsessed! Not only is the display of delicious goodies gorgeous but everything I purchased was mouthwatering to perfection. So fresh and proper home cooking comfort treats and foods. I purchased assorted cookies (that were gobbled up immediately by my family), perogies, coleslaw, cheese pies and a loaf of sourdough. All absolutely delicious! Can’t WAIT to go back and buy everything!
This is my favourite bakery in Toronto. They have an amazing assortment of delicious European treats and a hot table with a great selection of food. Not only is the service exceptional but everything we have tried from here was delicious and fresh. I did get cookies for Christmas and they even remembered me today and were so friendly and we had a great chat! I feel so nostalgic trying the rum balls that I used to have as a kid. He is the king of making poppy seed pastries. Not overly sweet (but just enough) and never bitter like you can get with lesser quality places.Try the poppyseed bun, which has a healthy dose of poppy, and if you really like the stuff go for the full roll - it’s really packed with it.
