Pizzeria Libretto on the Danforth is an excellent spot for Italian food. The quality is as good as ever, with fresh, delicious pizzas. The Margherita pizza is excellent—perfectly balanced. One reviewer tried a New York-style pie in addition to the classic Neopolitan, describing the pies as more sauce-forward, which is a refreshing take. The arancini balls are a must-try, and the pepper oil given at the table is so good, some guests have bought bottles for home. Kids enjoy the gnocchi. The house wine pairs beautifully with the meal. Service is fast, friendly, and helpful. The atmosphere is great with a nice relaxed feel, though it can get loud when busy. Happy hour offers great deals on wine and appetizers. Washrooms are clean. The menu is overall pricey, but the food and experience are fantastic.
