Axis doesn't bill itself as one of the new trendy dive bars, nor does it attempt to be your local Irish pub... But it somehow does both really well.

There are items of food here that are quite remarkable and I mean that in the best of ways.. one of the best seafood pastas in the city, both in terms of value ample portion size and actual seafood.

I chose axis as my local pub when I moved here a few years ago.
I can always rely on running into the wonderful people who are regular customers here.
I quickly became friends with every server here, and it is truly a pleasure chatting with any one of them to lift my spirits after a hard day of work!

My local bar. Come here all the time. Great prices compared to other bars and the staff are great. Food's always good (excellent wings and steak sandwhiches) and they have an excellent patio in the summer. Highly recommended.
