Would not recommend. Had a bad experience at the door for the second time with the larger woman with tattoos. We enjoyed our meal, service was casual and fine, but the manager’s horrible attitude set the wrong tone for the evening and my partner was especially turned off. Food is good but I wouldn’t come back, too many better alternatives on ossington

Rude, rude, rude! We were ignored. A Person without reservation, walked in, cut in line and got a seat. While we were ignored by the host. When we got to the host (After being cut off by the customer), they said the wait time is one hour! Never coming back again.

I visited on Sunday. The wine my friend and I had the most sour tasteless we ever had. $40+ for 2 glasses ain’t worth.

I recently visited this restaurant while in the neighbourhood. The place caught my eye so a friend and I gave it a try. The interior design was visually appealing with its Arabian-inspired curvatures. Our initial server was great, providing menus and water promptly.

However, the experience had some drawbacks. The menu inside differed from what was advertised outside, likely due to time-based offerings, but it was confusing and somewhat disappointing. The menu was limited in variety, though we opted for the wood-fired kofta, zaatar cheese bread, and chickpea salad.

A particularly surprising concern was discovering that the kofta was not halal. Something I never expected to encounter in a restaurant serving Middle Eastern cuisine. This felt like a missed opportunity to honour the authenticity and cultural context of the dishes being offered. While I understand that sourcing halal meat can pose logistical challenges, transparency is key, especially when the dishes originate from regions where halal practices are integral to culinary tradition. Although I chose not to eat the kofta due to dietary restrictions I appreciated the disclosure. My friend who doesn’t follow the same dietary guidelines, decided to go ahead and order it.

The food was good and reasonably priced. However, service declined noticeably after our initial server’s shift ended; it took 20 minutes for our next server to give us the bill. The dining area felt overcrowded, with closely spaced small tables similar to the ones in food courts making movement difficult for both guests and staff. As my friend kept having to move closer into the table to allow the waiter to pass by. While the initial service was good, similar concerns in other reviews suggest consistent areas for improvement.

We had a fantastic first-time experience at your restaurant last night, the food was incredibly delicious, the atmosphere was perfect and the service was top-notch - we really enjoyed it, thank you.

Absolutely incredible food! You can tell the ingredients are top-notch and the chefs are artists. A must-try for a special occasion or when you want to treat yourself to an unforgettable meal.

We had crispy mushroom, zaatar fries and Striploin steak.

While the food itself was great, the overall experience left a lot to be desired. The restaurant made a point of confirming my reservation and ensuring I arrived on time but failed to mention their inability to accommodate dietary restrictions until after I was seated. I have a serious allergy and was told they couldn’t serve me unless I retrieved my EpiPen, or I would forfeit my reservation.

This could have been communicated well in advance, especially during booking or confirmation. The manager was firm and unaccommodating, citing the chef’s limitations. It felt like they were more interested in filling the table than providing a thoughtful or inclusive dining experience.

For the price point, there are far better options nearby. Haifa Room down the street offers better value, service, and overall hospitality. Disappointed and won’t be returning.

Such a great place for a date night or girls night! The shareables are filling and so flavourful. Highly recommend the baba ghanoush, the balsamic is such a good twist. They are a little cheap when it comes to accommodating allergies - asked for some cucumbers to dip while my friends could enjoy the pita and we had to sacrifice a portion of the bread in order to get some cucumber ¿? Then we asked for a bit more cause the portion was so small and they asked for $3 for a small bowl of cucumber. Only complaint - otherwise delish!

Food is so so, very small dishes (unexpected small) Ordering takes forever. At the end, we got two different bills from a waiter and a waitress. one normal bill and one with a 20% large group mandatory tips bill. the waitress explained that we will have to pay this large group tips and the other bill is wrong. Noticing we are very confusing, the waitress keeps on talking, do you understand English? Does anyone in this group understand English? Very very rude . We DO understand English, but we don’t like being forced to pay a bill without pre-notification. Very very bad experience, won’t come again.

We had dinner and brunch here and both times the food was really great.
At brunch, our particular server would be better off in a different line of work but the rest of the staff, food and ambiance were great and we are definitely making this a regular spot!

Four of us were there for dinner on Friday night. We booked on open table and needed to push back our reservation. They responded very quickly.
Mario was our server and helped us navigate the menu. I am gluten free and another of us is gluten free and vegan.
There were great options for us.
It’s tapas style which means sharing. The chicken was amazing
We loved it and will be back.
Great atmosphere too.
