enter through the front door on College Street and wander through to the amazing back patio.....the ambience is unbelievable, you are made to feel so comfortable and at home....our server was Peter who was beyond amazing....if you are looking for a place to go I definitely recommend this place......we are from Ottawa way but will be coming back...totally a 10 out of 10

Bairrada Churrasqueira "College" is a long-standing Portuguese restaurant known for its friendly service and authentic dishes. Diners have praised the hospitality of the staff, even during busy times, with one server handling lunch service efficiently. The restaurant offers a variety of popular meals, including the well-seasoned Portuguese chicken, which some have noted can arrive a bit dry and not warm enough. The beef a casa has also received high marks for its fantastic taste. Customers appreciate the flavorful piri piri chili sauce, which is a highlight for many.
The dining atmosphere, especially on the summer patio, adds to the experience. While some reviews mention issues like smaller chicken portions and bland potatoes, the complimentary dessert offered when concerns were raised shows the commitment to customer satisfaction. However, recent feedback suggests some inconsistency, particularly with takeout orders, indicating that the quality may vary. Overall, Bairrada remains a popular choice for those seeking traditional Portuguese cuisine in a welcoming environment.
