$8 for a danish and $12 for a SLICE of quiche?! Mid pastries and astronomical prices. As a smart consumer. I won’t spend $50 on 4 treats. Sorry but this is now a pass for me.

Popped into this bakery from a friend's suggestion because I was craving a pear tart type dessert and it exceeded my expectations! The half pear pastry was amazing - super light, flaky pastry, the pear was perfectly cooked and just the right amount of custard and sweetness. I will definitely be back for this and it's become a new favourite! Service was friendly as well and we received a free hot cross bun during the easter weekend. I don't typically like clove or hot crossed buns but their's changed my mind. The clove was strong but not overpowering and kept me coming back to it. I don't believe anything you order here will be disappointing and am excited to visit again <3

Staff was really nice and the bread was delicious! My only gripe...it's 2024 and they didn't have a single vegan item...

As a local resident, it is so nice and comforting to have a bakery that produces high quality baked goods that are staples (sourdough, baguette, croissant), and also isn't scared to experiment with new items. The staff is always friendly and the store layout/decor is very chic and welcoming at the same time. We know what we are getting at Bakery Pompette and go there on a regular basis. Highly recommend this cute bakery!!!

The staff are super friendly, and their French-style pastries, along with their coffee-flavored pudding and croissants, are the best! Highly recommend checking them out! A new hidden gem in Little Italy!
Baguette and pain au chocolat were both dry, expensive and nothing to write home about; coffee is bitter; such a disappointment. Oh, and they don’t take cash. Live down the street but won’t go back. Dommage as we like to support local businesses.

Best genuine French bakery and sourdough bread found in Toronto downtown so far, and very good quality/price ratio. The “pain au chocolat” and “croissant” are amazingly good too.A must!/Best French bread I've found in central Toronto so far. Very good value for money, and the loaves of bread stay fresh for several days. The pastries, notably pain au chocolat and croissant, are really excellent. I recommend !
Baguette was rock hard and we won’t be able to eat it… won’t be buying it again! Also ordered a chocolate croissant but I needed a microscope to find the chocolate! It’s there if you look closely!

Great bakery! I’m obsessed with their « Pain Suisse » and Chocolate croissant. They are absolutely delicious. I recently ordered 40 ishhh pastries for a school breakfast and everyone loved every single pastry (Butter croissant, pain au chocolat , apple turnover, cinnamon roll). Can’t wait to visit the bakery to try other flavoursome pastries.

Having read the rave reviews I want down to College and Grace (an extra 15 mins travel) and purchased a Ham & Cheese croissant for over $6. It was disappointing to say the least: yes, the croissant itself was good; but the cheese consisted of a small amount with virtually no taste; and the ham, a small micro-thin slice. What a rip!
