Balzac's Liberty Village is a coffee shop on Hannah and Liberty in Toronto. The shop itself has a cool darker ambience...long narrow space.

The service, as noted by others, could be a little more friendly. Just taking orders and ringing them in.

The food and coffee was very good.

Coffee and pastries go to spot, the cream on the carrot cake is OMG! Brownie, and almond croissant super yummy, cookies are good but are like dry, not chewy cookies just to let you know! Iced coffee is great! The place is cute and the ladies are so nice!
