Always consistently good ice cream and unique flavours!
Great creamy goodness.
Always stop into Bang Bang Ice Cream when we’re in town for a visit. No line on a weekday afternoon. 26 ice cream flavours along with three vegan flavours. Lame that there’s no sampling allowed. Prices have jumped up; single ($5.40), double ($7.95) and triple ($12.50).
- Flight ($12.00 for 4) - passionfruit sorbet, soursop, matcha & jasmine soba (twist) and mint chocolate chip. Interesting unique flavours but the ice cream scoops melted quickly
- Miso mon cherry ($5.40 single) - savoury
It takes nearly an hour of driving for me to reach this location, and I’ve always considered it my favourite spot for ice cream. Unfortunately, today’s experience was very disappointing.
Inside the shop it was crowded and loud, and I was already feeling overwhelmed. I asked a staff member for help choosing a flavour to take home. Instead of explaining things clearly, she repeatedly told me “it will melt,” without offering alternatives, a lid, or explaining which items do come with lids.
When I asked for the price, she pointed vaguely toward a small sign on the wall instead of telling me verbally — but the print was extremely small and hard to read in the lighting. It felt like she expected me to figure everything out myself while I was visibly struggling.
When I said, “Sorry, I’m feeling nervous,” the staff member responded with, “Nervous from what?”
This felt dismissive, minimizing, and unnecessary. I left feeling rushed, spoken down to, and unsupported during a moment where I clearly needed clearer communication.
For customers who may feel overstimulated, anxious, or simply need straightforward help, this experience did not meet basic accessibility expectations. Under AODA standards in Ontario, staff should offer clear, patient, and supportive communication — especially when someone is visibly struggling.
I hope management reviews staff training so no other customer ever has to leave feeling singled out, dismissed, or overwhelmed — especially at a place meant to bring comfort and joy.
Love the variety and flavours Bang Bang offers. Lines are long but welll worth the wait. Definitely a place to try when in the Ossington area.
Always a long line ups in summer but wait isn’t that bad. I like that they have a variety of Ice cream selections. Some ice creams are really sweet and if you get it as a cookie sandwich you could die from diabetes 🤣🤣 i struggled to finish half of the sandwich.
bang bang is a str8🍨 shooter in the 6ix with the sick vibes of the nice workers, litty flavours, and complimentary foods!
I like their walls displaying different flavors. We had one with jasmine (if my memory is right), very delicious and creative.
One of the most satisfying ice cream shops in Toronto.
The texture, the flavour, and the generous amount of mix-ins are unmatched. I’ve tried many ice cream spots across the city, and nothing beats this place.
Cons:
Expect long lineups in the summer. They also don’t offer freshly scooped pints during the warmer months—only a limited selection of pre-packed pints is available.
From the people who brought you Baker Bots (iykyk), there's a reason why they need sidewalk crowd control to sheppard imminent customers. Real deal, peak effort and ingredients for some of the most enjoyable cookies, ice cream, and more that you will find at street level retail in Toronto. Ask about the cookie ice cream sandwich that may or may not be publicized on the menu.

Kids love it, better quality than others
Best ice cream ever 😩
Amazing!!!
My daughter loved the fresh made waffle cone with really tasty mango custard and sour cherry ice creams. The ice cream sandwich I had was also fantastic. Would definitely recommend. Not cheap but you're getting a quality treat.
One of the best ice creams in Toronto! I loved it!
