I stopped by Bangkok after seeing all the glowing 4-star reviews and thought I was in for a treat — turns out, not quite. The place itself is lovely: clean, spacious, and comfortable. Unfortunately, the food didn’t match the setting. We ordered the chicken curry and pineapple chicken fried rice. The fried rice was fine, nothing to rave about, but the curry was so bland it could almost pass for soup. I kept waiting for that signature Thai coconut flavor… it never showed up. And to top it off, white rice wasn’t even included with the curry — that’s an extra. For the price they charge, I expected a little more flavor and a little less surprise at the bill.

We were very pleasantly surprised with the lovely atmosphere inside this spacious restaurant that is quite nondescript from the exterior. The staff were amazing and accommodating and the food was delicious with quick service! Lots of vegetarian and gluten free options right off the menu. From the front, the building does not appear wheelchair accessible, but there are a handful of tables wheelchair accessible via the back service entrance and an elevator. Would definitely recommend a reservation. The staff were very pleasant and helpful with this, really appreciate it.

I absolutely loved the food and service at Bangkok Garden Restaurant. The quality of the food was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and very authentic. Our server, Kala, was wonderful and recommended the special of the day, which turned out to be amazing. I definitely recommend this place, and if you’re lucky enough to have Kala as your server, you’re in for a great experience!
