I was excited to try sandwiches from this store for the first time, but was really disappointed. When I got home and opened my $6.00 sandwich, I found a fly inside. The bread tasted stale, and the sandwich was very dry with not much meat. I asked for extra spicy, but there were barely any hot peppers—I couldn’t even taste them. This was not the quality I expected. I hope the store will improve its food freshness and attention to orders

I really wanted to support small viet businesses but this place’s hygiene needs improvement. There was a bug in my noodle and a mouse running around the restaurant. The staff was really lovely ladies though, it’s a good option for affordable takeaways!

This place is a run down little family restaurant, and needs some maintenance. It has been empty during our lunch, except for 1 or 2 Banh mi take outs. Food is okay, we tried the noodle, Banh mi and ice coffee. The filling in the Banh mi is lacking. Noodle needs more flavor. Majority of the price goes to downtown rent.

Pictures pretty much speak for themselves. If a shop is incapable of packaging soups for delivery then perhaps they should not offer take-out/delivery as an option. $5 credit for over 20 minutes of cleaning up oil and gunk leaked onto pure hardwood floors. Disgusting.

This place needs to be checked out by food/health inspectors. I’m sure everyone coming here has seen the video online showing rats in this location. 🤮

My boyfriend and I tried Banh Mi Ba Le the other day—we both got the special beef bowl, a small ($13) and a large ($15), which includes beef, beef ball, and tripe. The lady who took our order was very sweet, she was recommending a few of their specialties, including the special beef. When we got our bowls, we received the first bowl, which appeared to be the small, then the second bowl, which was significantly smaller. The portion sizes were not what we were expecting. Regardless, they were quite tasty—yummy noodles and delicious broth. However, I was disappointed to find that even though we ordered the same special beef bowl, just different sizes, my bowl didn't include any tripe. Overall, the staff is super sweet, and the special beef bowl is delicious. Maybe opt for the large as it's only $2 more than the small.
