Delicious and clean food, a lovely owner, and lots of traditional Vietnamese snacks! I’ll definitely keep supporting this place in the future!

super authentic bánh mì! There are undoubtedly nicer diners if you're looking for Vietnamese cuisine, but for me I'm looking for dirt cheap fresh authentic Vietnamese subs. my parents used to buy in bulk from a some shotty decrepit hole-in-the-wall, but the subs were delicious and fed us all week. this sub strikes those memories. I've been looking for a similarly authentic, no-frills bánh mì shop to feed me this recession, and I think this is it. great shopkeeper for practicing your Vietnamese too :)

Jessica is the sweetest lady and her food is amazing. I am learning Vietnamese and she is always happy to see me and teach me some new words and make me a lovely bánh mì or some chè on a hot day. Would also recommend the bún thịt nướng and bánh cuốn, the latter of which is pretty damn hard to find even in this multicultural city. Super homestyle and comfy spot. This is the closest you can get to Vietnam in the city!

The banh mi here is absolutely delicious! The fillings are fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. On top of that, the staff is incredibly kind and attentive. Their friendly service makes the whole experience even better. Highly recommend for everyone

How authentic Vietnamese food should be! A casual homey hole-in-a-wall place with attentive service and limited English usually means good food and this place fits that bill.

Don't let appearances fool you. There's only room for about 20 people to sit down and the decor stuck in the 80s with an inordinate amount of Parisian accents. But it feels like you're eating at someone's home.

The 'Bun Rieu' for $10 (vegetables, crab, egg, tomatoes, tofu, in a complex satisfying broth) is just the right soup for a cold or rainy Toronto day. One of only two Vietnamese places in the GTA that serve it! They also carry several Banh Mi's made the original way all for less than $5. Cash only.

I was excited to try sandwiches from this store for the first time, but was really disappointed. When I got home and opened my $6.00 sandwich, I found a fly inside. The bread tasted stale, and the sandwich was very dry with not much meat. I asked for extra spicy, but there were barely any hot peppers—I couldn’t even taste them. This was not the quality I expected. I hope the store will improve its food freshness and attention to orders

I really wanted to support small viet businesses but this place’s hygiene needs improvement. There was a bug in my noodle and a mouse running around the restaurant. The staff was really lovely ladies though, it’s a good option for affordable takeaways!
