I’ve eaten here many times actually. It’s usually busy especially on weekends. The food is great! This time we had a new dish I’ve never seen it was a goat dish called Bhuna gosht juicy Mandi. It was a big spicier than I would have liked but this dish didn’t seem to have an option for spice level. It’s big enough for 2 or 3 to share. We also got the navratran korma. And we did have leftovers as well.
The not so great is their door needs fixing so it’s not so stuck. It gets cold by the door. And for whatever reason the light keeps flickering.
Would I come back? Yup food keeps me coming back. I’m about the food. The rest is all gravy for me.

I honestly just came over here to salivate at the pics of the food because Banjara is simply one of my fave restaurants of all time for so many years now!!! But seeing some one star reviews, I felt compelled to write this review because I just know these peeps just want more free delicious food!!! Haha but in all seriousness. Keep up the amazing work!!! Bloor location - excellent food snd service. Food 8/10 Atmosphere 9.5/10 Service 10/10 Parking: only few parking, most likely will have to free park on the street.
Important: restaurant is closed between 3 pm -5 pm for cleaning.

We tried the butter chicken, garlic naan, paneer tikka masala, and samosa chaat—and everything was excellent. The curries were rich and flavorful, the naan was soft and aromatic, and the samosa chaat was especially delicious and full of vibrant spices. A great meal from start to finish!

I got food poisoning from Banjara. I had the vegetarian thali. The atmosphere IS great but someone in the kitchen did not wash their hands. And I suffered for it.

This place is indeed pretty good! Ordered tandoori chicken sizzler and lamb madras, the chicken tastes good, but a bit too dry inside, the lamb is just soooo good, bold flavor with all those spices in the sauce, the free papadum also tastes delicious, almost like Indian version of doritos, and finally the mango lassi, well you never go to the Indian restaurant without the mango lassi…..Definitely will revisit in the future

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received when attempting to inquire about my order.
I called the store, and the representative initially stated that they could not locate my order despite providing the name associated with the purchase. Although I repeatedly attempted to provide the order number, the representative insisted that only a name was required. It was only after I insisted on providing the order number that they were able to find my order. The representative then proceeded to blame me for not providing the order number earlier, which I found to be unprofessional given my repeated attempts to do so.
I would appreciate it if you could address this issue.
An absolute gem!! Since discovering this wonderful restaurant I've become a regular. Very friendly, efficient staff, beautiful decor and authentic Indian cuisine. Absolutely delicious every single time!! I highly recommend.
