I visited Bank Bao for the first time a few days ago. I ordered the Duck Poutine which was a 9/10!! The portion was very reasonable for the price and the quality of the meal was amazing. I came around lunch time (12pm) and I got my order within 10 minutes. The staff were very kind and brought my order to my table as I dined in. I definitely will make another visit soon and try other menu items!

I ordered Vina Chicken Bao and Vietnamese Lime Tea.

They were good. The guys working were very nice.

I would come back again and with a better appetite next time!

The best baos I've ever eaten, I loved them. 100% recommended, for now my favorite is BB BEEF. The Passionfruit lemon refresh was also delicious.

Food for instagram only. Flavour is nonexistent and texture made the food inedible. Couldn’t even tell what kind of meat I was eating.

At Bank Bao, you don’t just order food — you make a flavour investment. With walls decked out in bao puns and bao-branded merch, this spot is as adorable as it is delicious and trust us: the returns are very high.

The 5 Spice was a reliable blue-chip option, braised pork belly that felt rich, balanced, and always a safe bet. The Richie Duck was pure luxury stock — BBQ duck with hoisin-garlic mayo that tasted as premium as it sounds. Meanwhile, the Vina Chicken was a high-yield pick, crispy fried chicken paired with Thai basil mayo for a flavour payout that kept us coming back.

But our top portfolio picks? The Deluxe Mushroom, crispy panko mushroom with truffle mayo and fried yam, proof that plant-based can be a strong performer; the K-Beef, bulgogi beef with kimchi that delivered bold, spicy dividends; and the Ebi Bao, crispy shrimp glazed with spicy mayo and hot honey, a bao with serious growth potential.

On the drinks side, the Passionfruit Lemon Refresher was liquid sunshine: light, fruity, and perfect for summer trading days, while the Vietnamese Iced Coffee was rich, creamy, and pure indulgence, like a bonus payout after a great investment.

With creative flavours, playful branding, and bao buns worth every deposit, Bank Bao makes it easy to diversify your taste portfolio. Fun, flavourful, and seriously profitable in the world of comfort food. 💸✨

Bank bao was very good. The fried chicken was very fresh and hot. The toppings were also delicious. The BAO bun itself was very spongy and fresh. The place looks brand new - bright and shiny. But $8 for one bao is pricey. I hope they bring the price down or do something like 3 baos for $18 with mix and match of the fillings. Our service was pretty quick. Overall nice place.

Phenomenal place to eat. Had a BB Beef and Ebi Bao. I was blown away with how tasty this was. 5 🌟 for the food.

Beyond that, the store was extremely clean. Open kitchen concept. You have to remember where this place is located, and considering Kensington market is right across the street, I'm really impressed with the cleanliness.

The staff were so welcoming. Helping us with every question we had. Harry, the chef stuck to his word.

Thousands of stars. Keep it up 🌟 👏

Bank Bao is one of those places that makes you glad you tried something new. The bao buns are soft, fluffy, and packed with flavour. Each bite feels like a little comfort food explosion.. The fillings are well-seasoned, balanced, and not overly heavy.

The vibe of the place is modern but relaxed, and the staff were welcoming and quick with service. Prices are fair for the quality, and the presentation makes the food look as good as it tastes.

If you’re into bold flavors and want something different from the usual spots, Bank Bao is absolutely worth a visit. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of the menu.
