Delicious food and good service
Pretty standard Chinatown dimsum place, offering decent food at a decent price. It strikes a good price-quality ratio, and is an affordable meal in Chinatown. The service and ambience do reflect their price point.

Yin Ji Chang Fen serves fresh, flavourful food with quick service. Dishes like beef brisket lo mein (S26), shrimp with chives rice noodle roll (R04), and steamed salty egg custard bun (DS03) are highly recommended. The beef brisket lo mein is perfectly melt-in-the-mouth with a decadent yet light flavour, and the noodles are cooked well. The shrimp and noodle rolls have great rice paper and a nice amount of ginger with a really good sauce. Meat and seafood taste fresh, clean, and flavourful. The congee with pieces of bbq pork, fish, squid, pork skin, egg, and toppings is a delicious warm comfort meal, and the super crispy fish skins with dip are a must-try crunchy beer snack. The prawn roll and steam pork ribs taste like home, and the place is good for brunch. The food is always nice and fresh, including the HK milk tea. Service excels compared to other locations, even in a busy part of the city. The place is smaller than other branches but gets the job done.
