The service was extremely poor and unprofessional. One of the waiter’s attitude ruined the entire dining experience. I do not recommend this restaurant at all.

Sat for dinner this past Friday. The food and cocktails were great, and the atmosphere was lovely. Unfortunately, the server/manager who took our payment was unnecessarily rude and aggressive. We explained twice how to split the bill (it wasn’t complicated), but she still split it incorrectly and then refused to redo it. We just paid as to avoid escalating the issue, but it really felt like she wanted to make sure we knew she didn’t like us. My friends and I have all worked as servers, so we understand the stress of the job, but we would’ve never treated a guest that way. It left a sour note on an otherwise fun evening.

Came here for bunch. Didn't like the pancakes as they had a surprising citrus flavour. The patates arnaki are phenomenal though and get all the stars.

My aunt and I ordered the Géfsi menu so we could try a little of everything and it was one of my favourite meals this year. We additionally ordered the calamari which is so addicting.
It was $70/pp for two. It came with four courses of tapas style plates.
Personally my stand out dishes were the cucumber salad with pistachio cream dressing, calamari, the potatoes and the steak.
Our waitress recommended the wine and it was excellent. My aunt loves white (I’m preferable to red) and we both loved it.

Great service, went there for a low key birthday dinner. Very clean and enjoyed the smaller sharing plates style. Lamb ribs were probably our fav!

I’ve been to Bar Koukla a couple of times and it never disappoints 😍 The atmosphere is always lively and fun, though the only downside is the wait it’s usually busy and you might need a bit of patience.
The food is excellent I really enjoyed the calamari (ordered them more than once!) and there are plenty of other tasty dishes to try. Cocktails are also delicious 🍸 Recently, one of the servers recommended a peach salad and it turned out to be amazing fresh, flavorful, and something I wouldn’t have picked myself.
The staff are very friendly and always happy to help with recommendations, which makes the whole experience even better. Definitely a spot worth visiting if you’re on Ossington!🤪
