A bit overhyped and overpriced. My partner and I walked in and were lazily greeted and they didnt even have chairs for us. We went in at 6:30pm.

The limoncello was great 5/5, the charcuterie platter presentation was sloppy. The olives were decent.

The service was the area that needed the most work, the servers come off very disinterested and unwelcoming.

The interior looks really cool but overall the food was not what I was expecting for the price. The croquettas and shrimp a la planxa were good, but nothing special, and the patatas bravas were pretty disappointing. The mushrooms with tempura were amazing though, I'd definitely recommend those! The cocktails were also solid, and pretty unique.

Based on what I tried, I'd say Madrina in the distillery district, while still overpriced in my opinion, has...

Beautiful interior that stands out, but otherwise disappointing. Our drinks got forgotten, a dish was forgotten, and it was generally hard to get a server. There were empty tables but maybe just not enough staff at the time? The cocktail menu looked fun and fresh, and I enjoyed the drink I had. I enjoyed the mushroom dish. The shrimp was pretty big although hard to eat because of it. We didn't finish the fried eggplant.

I'd come here again for a few...
