Food was delicious — wonderful flavours. Very cold environment when door to outside opened.

To begin with - there was no way to get in touch with the restaurant to let them know we were running late due to the freezing rain. Very frustrating - phone just went to voicemail and there was no messaging capacity. We had read that there was a great date night vibe - but honestly, if you could hear your date talk, it would be to ask each other why each step of the service process was so HARD? Even the water needed a reminder. The wait staff was clearly run off their feet and unable to keep up (we were told that they were understaffed - ok but why?) Our starter never came out, then our main steak (accompanied by a blank stare when asked about the starter). At this point we had to inquire about the frites, missing from our steak frites. With apologies the fries and the starter came out after we finished our main. We were assured that the fries would be removed from the bill, however, the fries were still on the bill when we paid. It wasn't worth asking to have it fixed 🤣 Bar Reyna must be nice sometimes, but last night it was a $hit show.

We made reservations and seated around 8:15pm. We were not even acknowledged by the one poor server upstairs for 25 mins. Finally I flagged him and he said “I'll be back” came back after 10 mins and poured water. We ordered right away. Ordered drinks, tacos, croquettes, wagyu tartare and the fish in main course with patata bravas. Croquettes were PHENOMENAL Fried mushroom - very good and different wagyu was amazing Tacos - never received them Patata bravas - replaced by some nasty frites without any communication Fish - bland and burnt I had heard so much about this place that I made a whole date night out of it but BOY was I disappointed. The place is LOUD, understaffed and the food should have shone through but because of missed orders and burnt $60 fish, I had a negative experience. I will never come back and don't believe everything you see on TikTok.

Ty was our server and he was a delight. The Manchego Croquettes were delicious and so was the lamb baklava. A little chilly sitting by the front door, but it's winter in Toronto, so what can we do. Love this place

Sea bass skin was burnt and the taste was a bit bitter. Would've told the waiter but he didn't cone to check on food by the time I realized the bitterness.

Our service was amazing! However, we were seated on their outdoor heated patio (which was chilly) even though the inside tables were vacant. They did provide us with blankets but I'll know next time to ask to sit inside in the winter. Otherwise a great experience!

The stracciatella toasts are out-of-this-world. Also, I swear the service gets better every time I visit.

We were excited to visit Bar Reyna following the restaurant's months-long renovation. The food was good and the service very good, despite it being very busy with only two servers. Unfortunately, there was a cold draft blowing on our table from above for part of our dinner, making us all uncomfortably chilly. Thank goodness for the blankets the restaurant provides. The server indicated that there had been a problem with the roof renovation which was in the process of being fixed. Also, there were a few influencers at the table behind us repeatedly shining a bright light on everything around them (and us) as they took endless photos. So some good things about the food/service, but overall a so-so experience.

Really enjoy Bar Reyna, it is a lovely spot for some Tapas and a glass of wine after work. On this day we were seated in back and while the decor and ambience is nice it is not quite conducive to the cooler climes. It was very cool and it is not ideal enjoying tapas and a glass of wine with a parka on. Hot chocolate and fondue, yes. Tapa no. I would suggest that if it is being used appropriate heating is utilized to at least raise the temperature a little bit. Great experience otherwise.

First time at Bar Reyna and look forward to going back. The Lebanese Taco and Spanish Frites were amazing! The back seating area has a great vibe, loved the cozy couch seating. Great spot for a first date or casual dinner with friends.

The food was totally worth it. Go tapas style and order as many small dishes as you can. A really fun night out in Toronto and the food was incredible

The food was very salty and not very tasty. Food service was a little slow. The dining room had a cold draft and we had to use blankets to stay warm.

Great service and experience. The menu had a lot of sharing options that were very flavourful and creative. Loved the lamb and croquettes! Must try.

Our server Johnny was phenomenal. From the moment we were seated, he set the tone for an exceptional dining experience. His warmth, attentiveness, and genuine care made us feel incredibly welcomed. Johnny anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, offered thoughtful recommendations, and carried himself with a level of professionalism that truly stood out. On top of all that, Johnny had a wonderful sense of humor that made the night even more enjoyable. He knew exactly how to lighten the mood, make us laugh, and create an atmosphere that felt fun and relaxed without ever being intrusive. We were celebrating a friend's birthday, and she absolutely loved everything — the atmosphere, the food, and especially Johnny's exceptional service. He made the evening feel special and memorable, and we couldn't have asked for a better person to guide us through such an important occasion. Every interaction was effortless and sincere — he balanced friendliness, efficiency, and charm perfectly. It's rare to encounter someone who not only excels at their job but also elevates the entire experience around them. Johnny did exactly that. Because of his outstanding service, our visit became something truly unforgettable. Johnny is an absolute asset to your team, and we hope he's recognized for the exceptional work he does.
