The food was excellent, and the portions were generous. We visited during Summerlicious but didn't realize the menu is only offered at Alobar Downtown, not Alobar Yorkville. It was a bit confusing since it was our first time visiting any of the Alo restaurants. That said, we still had a great experience and really enjoyed the meal.
Michelin star place. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Everything here is beyond 5-star. I was introduced to this bar before Michelin guide came to Canada by a renowned chef who was certain this place is top tier... And he knew what he was talking about. Outstanding service, well trained staff, phenomenal food & taste and perfect drinks. I'll be coming back again and again.
Very nice food (I had the juiciest pork chops). Our waitress was knowledgeable, attentive, and present whenever we needed her. When I had a question about how they cooked the pork, I was surprised the chef came to our table to talk to me! Great experience.
