Loved all of the food we had, meatballs were possibly the best I’ve had at a restaurant. Only thing we didn’t like was the Cannoli milk wash cocktail, it tasted watery, which only got worse because they put a bunch of small vs a large ice cube in it. Server didn’t seem in the best mood so didn’t add to our experience and never once asked us how anything was. Was also unimpressed that she took away our meatball plate with the sauce we were using to dip garlic bread without asking and I wasn’t fast enough to stop her. Food is unreal and classic Jen Agg restaurant good vibes so definitely recommend a visit.

I came here with my girl friends last night because they had been several times and raved about the food and particularly the pasta. The food was incredible as described, however the service was the worse I’ve ever experienced in my life. Our server continuously just dropped things on the table and walked away. When asked a question we got extremely rude and sharp responses. Our entire table continued to try and be nice to this person but it was truly astonishing how rude they were. Our whole table left the dinner shell shocked by how we were spoken to and treated by this server. It was unprompted and we don’t know this person so maybe it was an off night? But it was very disappointing considering the food was incredible and the atmosphere was fantastic, I would love to come back again and hopefully have a different server and service experience.

Went here for a birthday dinner just before the new year. Nice dark ambiance to the space, which is quite small, but cute. The food was really good, portions were nice and it was all super tasty. Only criticism would be feeling a bit neglected with service.

came in here to hide from the cold and get some wine in me
Fantastic Italian dishes - loved the fennel salad and the pasta dishes. Funky ambience, great service. Thank you for feeding us well!
A very cute and cozy spot, I have been here twice already. The first time I visited in April, I was very impressed, basically love everything I ordered. Last week I visited again and the menu seemed changed from the last time, which is good.
I enjoyed the garlic bread. But the tomato bruschetta wasn’t as good as last time, don’t know if the recipe changed. Overall it’s still a pleasant experience.

So delicious! Found out they have half portion size options for solo diners which was perfect! Got to try many things on the menu and loved everything. The bartender who served me was wonderful, as well. Would absolutely go back and recommend to others!
Perfect restaurant for an intimate night out. The by the glass menu had enough variety to appeal to the whole table.
Delicious food and delicious wine. Highly recommend a glass of the pearl morisette. For dinner we had the cheesy garlic bread, meatballs, the crown, and rigatoni with peppers and fennel. Everything was perfect. Looking forward to going back again to try other dishes.
Vibey, hole in the wall, hidden gem. Menu was straightforward - there's only 4 pastas to order for mains. A few interesting appetizers, with your standard Italian options. The meatballs were great. I couldn't tell how fresh the focaccia bread was or if it was just freshly warmed up. Might have got more attention with a couple more herbs.
I also enjoyed the new potatoes with the caviar - that was unique but the potatoes could have had more flavor (perhaps BBQ'd instead of boiled).
The pastas sealed the deal and really pushed up my opinion of the restaurant. Serious attention was paid to the flavour combinations. We tried three out of four and they were great.

11/10 would recommend! It's such a cozy and cool spot. All the food was amazing, the staff was very nice and attentive, and the ambiance was a vibe!
Bar Vendetta is this unique small and casual spot that is oddly also one of the best places you'll ever eat pasta at. It's something really inspiring see two chefs cook back to back in an open layout with a space no bigger than a coat closet. Something you have to see in person.
What a wonderful experience! Amazing staff, delicious food and great ambiance. Will not be my last time there!
Cozy dim-lit vibes, certainly delicious pasta, extensive wine list, and competent staff who were extremely on top of their water service. But I must say that it was very loud and it was hard to understand each other while talking normally, and vegetarian options were limited.

I don’t normally like to leave negative reviews but this restaurant was severely lacking in the flavour department. We tried the cheesy garlic bread and it was a huge let down, it tasted sweet for some reason? The pasta dishes we tried ranged from bad to underwhelming. We were sat in the back with a heater roasting you from behind, and a cold uninsulated wall in the other side. On a positive note the service and atmosphere was good. Just very disappointing food, east side marios has better pasta and garlic bread which is sad. Im not a very fussy person at all, especially with Italian food so I was pretty shocked at the poor flavour. The food looked very appetizing but was really lacking in terms of flavour, I’m really unsure how you can make spaghetti sauce taste so poorly, They use very odd seasonings in some of the food. Just my honest opinion, I felt compelled to leave a review because it was kind of the worst dining experience I’ve had in a long time. My date also agreed that the food just.. didn’t taste good.
