These lemon bichons bring peace to my chaotic morningsParking: Lots of parking available on both sides of the street even on weekends if you have no problem with parallel parking. Use the smaller roads if you do.

The pastries are a bit pricey but very tasty. I was a little disappointed by the selection of drinks as I do not drink coffee. But all in all would visit again.Wheelchair accessibility: There's two or three steps to get into the space.

I ordered two cakes (a chocolate and a lemon meringue) online and went to barbershop to pick them up. While I was there, I also got a sausage roll and a lemon bichon. Service was efficient and perfunctory, which is fine. What really impressed me were the quality of the cakes I brought back! The lemon meringue is quite possibly the best lemon meringue cake I've ever had, my sincere compliments to the baker. It is layered, with exquisitely airy blow torched cream on top, and lemony cream between a sponge cake that is really not too sweet, and is texturally just right. The lemon bichon is really good, and the sausage roll had a spiced sausage sandwiched in skillfully made buttery puff pastry. I may update this review with their chocolate cake, which I expect will be equally good.Get their cakes!

This place is really inconsistent. I think I came here 6 times in the span of 2 weeks and I had varying feelings about the quality of the food. Some days the lemon pastry is absolutely delicious, some days it was completely under or over baked, lacking lemon curd, or covered in too much glaze.Has a lot of potential, but avoid the sausage roll, it tastes very grainy.

YUM!!!! we got the mushroom ragu puff and chocolate chip cookie. That is the best damn puff I’ve ever had. The pastry is buttery and flakey. The mushroom ragu is full of flavour. The chocolate chip cookie is also a must try. I love the salt on top which brings out the flavour of the chocolate. The chocolate is a little bitter which I personally love since it adds some distinction from the cookie dough.I will be back for both items and to try more!!
Lemon bichon - worth another visit. Chocolate chip cookie - a bit salty for me, but it certainly has appeal. Must try the croissants etc.! But the true standout for me was the staff. I had a bit of a surprise with the 'tap' machine ' which knew my email address even though I'd never been here before. I spoke to my credit card company, the 'tap' machine company, and emailed Barbershop Patisserie, explaining my discomfort with my address being available without my consent. The ONLY person who responded in any way that made sense was Jill from Barbershop! And they did a deep dive to see why it happened, and what it really means re: privacy. Jill took my concerns to heart and went above and beyond to give me context and peace of mind. That level of care means a lot. Thank you - and see you again!

Croissants were soft, flaky and fresh. Selection was great, with savoury and sweet options. But holy moly was this place insanely un child friendly and inaccessible beyond belief. Two huge stairs going in, with a heavy door. Then inside, they have fine china lining the bottom of an open bookshelf. Easy to grab, easy to break. They have. A giant plant taking up quite a bit of space which my children also wanted to tear apart .. it was a stressful but delicious 5 minutes.
