I cannot and will not ever rave enough about BB’s! This was by far one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. We went for an 11ish brunch time, with a reservation. The vibes inside were fantastic, very friendly and upbeat - from the decor to the playlist (which was 10/10) to the staff that were so friendly, helpful, warm and welcoming.

The food - well duh, 20/10!! Every single bite of everything was beyond incredible. You literally cannot go wrong with anything ordered. Also it was a birthday celebration and within prompting they presented a piece of their incredible signature pie (see photos) SO DELICIOUS!!!

My absolute most appreciated thing however, was their generous accommodation. In my reservations, I always ask for somewhere slightly separated, for sensory reasons. This request is usually half assed or altogether ignored. However I was stunned to find they’d placed us in an entirely separate room!! We were all so impressed, and it made our dining experience (with multiple people of multiple sensory concerns) so much easier. I will be forever grateful.

Again, I cannot ever recommend BB’s enough and will be returning (a lot).

The food was really delicious and the prices were very reasonable.
However, the service was quite slow. We arrived at 2:00 PM, placed our order at 2:10, and were only partially served around 2:45 PM. Some dishes were incomplete
For example, the chicken arrived 10 minutes later, so everything else was cold.
We also reordered a pancake, which took another 25 minutes to arrive.
That said, when the chicken finally came, they kindly offered us some rice to make up for the delay. They also offered two desserts, which was really thoughtful and appreciated.
And above all, our server was truly, truly kind — very attentive and friendly from start to finish.

I’m biased. It slapped. Will be back.

Came here after running a half marathon. I showed up with an empty stomach, left with a full heart… and stomach. Maraming salamat po!

Disappointing overall. We ordered the fried chicken and the beef corn silog. Portions were noticeably small, which made the price hard to justify. The fried chicken had a few redeeming qualities but didn’t stand out. The beef corn was nicely crisped, but the rice was exceptionally average and lacked any flavor or flair.

Bb's Diner had a Michelin guide recommendation so I knew I had to try it.

I ordered the kinilaw which was okay and maybe it was a different regional kinilaw but I found the tang/sourness was downplayed in the dish. Not sure if it was the cater to a Western palate. Maybe I'm wrong. The kinilaw I'm used to is heavy on the citrus and vinegar. Overall it was decent but I felt it was missing what I'm used to in a tuna kinilaw. The presentation was beautiful though!

The fried chicken was delicious. It was fried perfectly and the chicken was juicy and moist. It came with a side of a dipping sauce. Definitely order a side of rice so you can eat it everything family style!

My favorite and star dish of the night was the bangus sisig. Sisig means sizzling plate, also known as drunk food. It's greasy, rich, decadent, and it was so good. I think I could have eaten the whole plate myself. It had so much umami and flavor. There is an egg in the middle of the sizzing plate and you mix everything together.

Overall I would come back and try the brunch menu because I love Filipino breakfast!

Really great food, friendly service, cute setting. The ribs and pancit egg noodles were particularly delicious, as well as the BBS salad! The cocktails and mocktails are also delicious! Would definitely recommend!

As a Filipino, I was eager to try BB’s, but left feeling underwhelmed. The food, while presented decently, tasted generic and lacked the distinct flavors I expect from our cuisine. For the price, I anticipated a more unique and elevated experience. They also charged extra for rice for what they called “adobo”. It was a bit disappointing that this restaurant, positioned as a showcase of Filipino food, didn't quite capture the vibrant culinary heritage I know.

Try other places if you want to eat Filipino food

My initial impression of BB’s wasn’t great. Coming inside the restaurant, the host hadn’t greeted us with hello or anything of the like, but rather with a “Do you have a reso?” To which I said no, he then, after deliberating for while pointed at a table and said we could sit there. Important to mention; the restaurant was empty and has continued to be empty for the entirety of our stay there, so the need for such heavy thinking on his part seemed to me at least a bit silly. We sat down and looked at the menu, we decided on the pork belly and the pancit noodles, from that point on the experience improved. Our initial host has become more attentive to our needs, constantly filling our glasses and taking our orders, though a friendly attitude towards us only developed towards the end of the meal, additionally, we were on rotation for another waiter who was very friendly and explained with a smile about every dish served, which was appreciated. The food came and I thought it was great, the pork belly was perfectly fried and had extremely crispy skin, the sour sauce and pickled veggies that it came with helped break up the heavy fattiness. Though my girlfriend and I still found the dish to be a bit heavy for us, it was very well made and tasty nonetheless. The highlight of the meal was the pancit noodles; they were chewy, the flavor was rich, and the dish filling and great value for the price. Overall, I enjoyed BB’s, some of the employees could serve to be a little friendlier, but overall I had a good time having some very tasty Filipino food. I definitely recommend trying!
P.S I really like the design of the restaurant!

Tight menu. Great food. Great service. Great playlist. I get the hype. Can’t wait to be back. Solid portions and great value. The fried chicken, pancit, tamarind ribs were standouts. Make sure to finish with the calamansi meringue pie.

BB's Diner. Panlasang Pilipino ... with a twist. I ordered the chicksilog, basically fried chicken served with garlic rice and eggs. Delicious! The elevated presentation definitely was a welcome surprise. For dessert, I had the ube flan, and as someone who doesn't like just pure sugar desserts, was a fantastic combination. The strawberry compote, on first taste, swooshed me back to my childhood, eating strawberry preserves in La Trinidad, Benguet in the Philippines. This was a real treat, a flashback in time to my bygone youth. Simply 5 star! It gives me great pride to see the Bib Gourmand designation. This place is doing something right celebrating the Filipino heritage with style and decorum.
