Betty's East is the ultimate spot for a chill drink with friends in Leslieville. The interior is so cool and unique—it has that perfect neighborhood pub feel without being too loud or overwhelming. It’s my go-to when I just want to relax, grab a pint, and catch up with people. A great addition to Queen East!

I celebrated my birthday here last night and had such a great experience. We reserved a private room, and it was perfect for about 20 people—plenty of space for mingling and even some dancing. The staff were amazing: super helpful and attentive without hovering. They helped us set up at the beginning, cleaned up at the end, and even reserved a small section of the bar so we could quickly walk up and order drinks. We had full control over the space and the music, which made it feel very personal. The fact that there was no booking fee was a huge bonus. I would absolutely recommend this spot for a winter birthday or any group celebration, and we’ll definitely be back!

Booked the front room at Betty’s East for a private Christmas party with some close friends and it was perfect. The team was incredibly accommodating from start to finish. They even set us up with a stereo system we could connect to, which made the night feel like our own space.
Wayne was especially great. Super attentive, checked in without hovering, and handled our rowdy group with zero complaints even though we were loud and packed the room. Much appreciated.
Drinks and beer were solid and reasonably priced. The dart board got plenty of action, and the mix of high tops and couches made it easy to hang, mingle, or just lounge. The vibe is really cool and the space is well decorated.
Would absolutely book here again for a group night or private event. Highly recommend.

The staff is the most pleasant people you’ll ever meet, trivia on Wednesdays is so much fun we’ve been multiple times. If you want to go somewhere and support a small business I cannot recommend this place more. & they are dog friendly inside and out.

I recently reserved the private room for my birthday party and it was such a nice atmosphere (no minimum spend too!). The managers were very kind and accommodating, I was allowed to bring my own cake and decorations. The room was cozy and set up with couches and tables. They left a part of the bar reserved for my guests so we had quick access to drink and food. Overall a great experience I’d host an event here again!

From the planning process, to our arrival, through to the end of the night, everything was seamless and the service was exceptional—truly a 20/10 experience. Everyone couldn’t stop raving about the food and how much they loved the drinks.

I was a big fan of the old location so was excited to try Betty’s East, they definitely kept up with the vibe and have a great dog- friendly patio! The poutine spring roles were very hearty and sooo good… packed w cheese. My friend had the burger & really enjoyed it, the fries were crinkle cut and crispy. I myself had the Birria tacos, the tacos themselves were delicious - moist & flavourful, however I found the birria lacked a bit of flavour, great evening nonetheless!
