Embarking on a culinary expedition through the bustling streets of Toronto, we rekindled our love affair with Bhoj, a gastronomic haven that had previously woven its flavors into our family's tapestry of celebratory memories. Amidst the unpredictable tides of the post-COVID-19 era, it was a delight to discover that Bhoj had not only weathered the storm but was flourishing, much to the elation of our eager palates. As we navigated through our homecoming feast, the 'Palak Paneer' stood out, a testament to the art of vegetarian cuisine. It was a lush, velvety tapestry of spinach, masterfully blended with spices and paneer that could make even the most devout carnivores pause in admiration. Its creamy embrace was spoken of with fervor among my vegetarian comrades, and for good reason. Craving the comfort of nostalgia, we indulged in 'Aloo Paratha', unleashing a flood of memories with each bite. These parcels of potato-filled joy were comparable to the cherished homemade versions crafted by friends, affirming the restaurant's proud, family-run ethos. Our culinary journey was far from over. We found ourselves drawn back to Bhoj, enticed by the siren call of their Tandoori temptations and vegetarian virtuosities. The 'Jeera Aloo' and 'Kofta Malai' were revelations—where the latter's tender paneer cheese, cradling a heart of cashews and mawa, bathed in a sumptuous creamy korma sauce, could easily stand toe-to-toe with any meat-packed dish. The anticipation for their starter dishes simmers within us, yet it's the sizzle of the curry and the char of the tandoor that beckons us back for encore after encore. Bhoj's location, a mere stone's throw from the chic enclave of Yorkville, adds a sprinkle of convenience to its already irresistible allure. With each take-away experience, the warmth of Bhoj's hospitality is felt not just in the heart but also through their generous offering—complimentary naan bread with purchases over 20 Canadian dollars. It's a gesture that harmonizes beautifully with the symphony of flavors contained within our take-away box. In the chill of Toronto's sub-zero climes, Bhoj's authentic Indian fare transcends mere sustenance. It's a culinary embrace, a heartwarming reminder of home. Their dishes are not just cooked; they're crafted with love, a sentiment deeply felt with each delectable mouthful. Amidst the welcoming atmosphere and lively banter with the staff, your heart is sure to be warmed all over again.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian Delights to Warm Your Soul: Scrumptious curries, plentiful veggie platters, and tasty lentils, chickpeas, eggplants, okra and potatoes marinated and infused with exquisite Indian spices at Bhoj Indian Restaurant

My son and I enjoyed a delicious meal, likely one of the best Indian meals ever. The Butter Chicken and Garlic Naan was superb. We highly recommend this restaurant. It deserves to be better known.

We ordered the butter chicken, rogan josh, cheese naan, and regular naan for takeout by calling the restaurant directly. The food was absolutely delicious and the chef and his wife were incredibly kind! Best Indian food in Toronto! I would definitely recommend!

As someone who enjoys Indian cuisine, this restaurant did a great job on their food they offered. Oddly enough, the smell inside upon entering really enticed and made the experience so much more enjoyable. The butter chicken here erodes a strong rich taste of different flavours while the Paneer is delicious as a standalone or as a complement. The pricing here was fair although the only criticism would be the portions are a bit smaller than expected (fair point that competitor restaurants are much pricier though). I would definitely return and it has a cozy, heartfelt vibe for either sitting with one person or a group of people.
