I always order cupcakes fromBobbette and Belle when I am in Toronto. I love the red velvet cupcake and the carrot cupcake too! Please note before leaving negative reviews that they use Swiss Meringue Cream cheese buttercream (noted in their amazing recipe book which I bought). It is a much lighter, fluffier and stable buttercream with a delicate cream cheese flavour and I love it! I encourage buying their book because they share so many bakery secrets and techniques. It’s also great to bake the bakery if you live far away like me (Quebec). The only bummer is that the vanilla cupcakes do dry out when I don’t eat them the same day. But given that they are made with fresh ingredients it’s just like all other home made baked goods. Best enjoyed asap!

I'm glad we stopped in at Bobbette & Belle recently for some dessert and coffee. We tried a couple different slices of pie, a brownie, and a Nanaimo bar. All were good quality; the kind you'd expect from a high-end bakery. All of the items had a uniqueness to them even though they were standard bakery items. I also noticed that nothing tasted overly sweet, as though care had been taken to add just enough sugar, but no more than necessary. The counter person was very friendly and helpful, answering our questions, and helping us through our initial indecisiveness. I definitely plan on coming back at some point. Also, as you can see from my photo, you can stop in here to buy whole cakes and pies too.

I live nearby so have popped in for baked goods a few times, always trying something new as I haven't found anything that I like yet. It's a really cute place with comfortable seating and a big selection, I really wanted to like it. My biggest complaint is how dry and flavourless the items are and especially for the price. I just had a ~$6 cupcake which was moist but other than the colour and the label, would not have been able to tell it was chocolate.

I had ordered a custom cake for my husband's milestone birthday and had received confirmation, including an email chain with a team member to discuss the order in detail. Unfortunately, when arriving to pick up the cake a few hours before the party, the cake was no where to be found. While the manager did email a couple days later to apologize, the reason provided was that, "the cake had been made but sent to [the] other location and it was not discovered until close to closing time by the team up there". All this tells me is that the issue was in fact discovered by the bakery before closing and still nothing was done to fix it, even when the pick up time wasn't scheduled until mid-afternoon the following day. This means the day of pick up, the cake sat at the other location, all while knowing it was at the wrong location. This was a big mistake, and as much as I love the cakes, I just can't trust ordering from here again!

Cute coffee shop/bakery in Leslieville area, the coffee was great, we got the blueberry scone and chocolate cookie, they were both good, but the scone was the highlight and would

Love the ambience but the staff really make this the most pleasant experience. Lovely for earl grey tea with steamed oat milk and chatting with a friend...Lots of beautiful pastries, cakes all sorts of stuff I don't eat but they look lovely. My favourite "let's meet for tea" place

Incredible bakery! Been going here for years, and their bakes have been super consistent throughout.Especially love their lemon meringue cupcakes, pecan square, blueberry scones and carrot cake! (Strange, since I love chocolate but these are my go-to!) Highly recommended :)PS: Definitely the best scones I've ever had in my life. MUST.TRY.

I was super excited to try this place because of amazing reviews I have heard and I also had tried it when it was a coworkers birthday. However, I have gone here on two different occasions and have tried their cupcakes, cakes and cookies and have found them to be a bit dry. The icing is delicious but the cake itself is a bit dry. I'm not sure if it's because of the way they are displayed or they were a few days old, but the cupcake and cakes were not moist.

Service and cupcake were good. Where my issue lays is the fact that this establishment does not take cash. They say for health reasons. This is a false belief, but more dangerously, not accepting cash hastens digital dollar, what this means is unelected and elected officials can take away your ability to charge money for goods or services, or take away all your money, whenever they see fit.Bobbette & Belle, a simple desert shop is actively and willingly helping the government fulfill that directive. Remember the person who gave a trucker 20 bucks for gas and got their house taken away.I will not and cannot support this business, I strongly urge you, the reader to do the same until they change this ignorant and dangerous policy.

I have been DYING to try Bobbette & Belle forever! I ordered cupcakes and cookies last Christmas for my family but never got a chance to try them. Today I decided to pop in and I was disappointed. It’s extremely overpriced for the quality. The cupcakes are dense and the buttercream is grainy and very sweet. The girl helping us at the counter had zero personality and was ver standoffish, not great customer service. We spent $30+ on two coffees, 3 cupcakes, and a muffin. I’m ok spending $$$ on pastries and baked goods but I expect more. I’d save your time on this place

I visited this cafe today and found the cakes to be disappointingly old and dry. However, the saving grace was the latte, which was decent.

It’s a cute space and they have a variety of items but they don’t accept cash which seems rediculous to me … it’s not the pandemic now and most bars and Restos can easily have a safe for cash at eod. i also find the buttercream icing more buttery then sweet and very “greasy”

This café is such an elegant place with delicious pastries. My friend took me here and now it’s one of our go-to places to relax and grab a quick bite. It’s a great place to stop and relax for a bit, have a latte, and escape from the hustle and bustle of the work world. The atmosphere in this place is relaxing and beautiful. The furniture, flowers, pastry counter and decorations all make a beautiful and bright French-inspired interior.Their pastries are delicious, large in size, and not overly sweet! My favourites are their strawberry cupcakes and lemon cake slices. Both are rich, fruity, and delectable.I highly recommend this lovely little café for your French pastry cravings, and if you just need a little peace and quiet in a beautiful space.
