Was on the East end for a good time not a long time and this place was definitely my favourite.

One of my favourite bar/restaurants in the city. A friend brought me a couple years ago and now I bring all my friends here when they visit. The food is SO good I’ve personally never had anything I didn’t like. And the cocktails are great. My go to is the lavender lemonade I think it’s called? Regardless, the vibe is moody and cozy, but the staff are friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend.

The restaurant is tucked in the enclave of Leslieville and has warm wood paneling and eclectic wall decorations that create a welcoming vibe. The playlist is carefully chosen, adding to the ambiance. The food is the true star, with dishes like steak tartare, duck frites, grilled octopus served on a crisp hash brown, and the Basque cheesecake that melts in the mouth with a caramelized exterior and bright cherry syrup. The service is friendly and enthusiastic, though sometimes slow, and the cocktail and wine selection is impressive, albeit a bit pricey. The place is small and lively, making it a cozy spot despite being loud and tight on seating. While reservations are not accepted, guests often find themselves seated quickly.
