Solid beer and good vibes. But overall nothing special. It's one of those types of spots where U keep going and it eventually becomes a comfort spot. Great place to go to to kick back and relax with friends.

My friend and I popped in late last night to warm up after her birthday celebration, and ended up enamoured by the cocktail menu! Bartender Kat had amazing energy and we got the Cozy Cabin which was delicious! The smokey flavour and perfectly toasted marshmallow captured the nostalgia of sitting in front of a campfire as a kid. Miraculously, when we stepped out of the bar last night, it was the first real snowfall of the winter! Overall, a fantastic experience: looking forwards to more seasonal cocktails from this place!

We recently visited this place. It was not planned visit to this place but the server, "Kat" - a nursing student, was amazing. Her recommendations were spot on for our crowd. The ambiance provided opportunities for indoor and outdoor heated patio in the back. Cozy couches with some board games are added touch for homey - good time.
Food was good well- of course a bit pricier but all in the good spirits. I won't complain if I am served with a smile and good spirit.

This pub has been there since before 1993. It has been revamped. It's comfortable and cozy. They have a covered patio in the back. The pool table hasn't been there in decades. Seating for a handful on the sidewalk if you like vehicle fumes with your food & drink. The pizzas seem off kilter from the old days. In a recent visit the pesto pizza was a weird concoction and the 'Trucker' meat pizza was on the money but sadly both were over cooked. The rest of the menu is a bit stripped down and focused but they offered a Sheppard's Pie special that was not anywhere else on the menu. The service was ok but nothing to write home about. The Taps used to be 50/50 eat and drink but now it seems to have shifted more towards being a good drinking hole or local. A fantastic place to meet with friends for drinks and pub food. It's big enough to host small parties and festive holiday bashes. Getting up there in years but the Taps wears it well. Not good for wheel chairs and boring for children. Parking on street or TTC to the front door in the street car.
